    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a source device may determine a transmit power level increase based at least in part on a failed transmission for a message having a deadline for reception at a target device. For example, in some aspects, the deadline for reception of the message may be based at least in part on a survival time for an application consuming a communication service associated with the message. The source device may transmit a next message using the transmit power level increase during the survival time and prior to the deadline for reception of the message at the target device.     Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for sidelink assistance for communication between a user equipment (UE) and a network entity. In some aspects, a set of UEs and a network entity may support one or more signaling mechanisms according to which at least one UE is able to assist other UEs in receiving or obtaining information to use for communication with the network entity. For example, a first UE may receive assistance information from a second UE and may use the received assistance information for communication between the first CE and the network entity or may otherwise operate in accordance with the received assistance information. Such assistance information may include an indication of a system information change, a public warning signal (PWS) notification, one or more signal strength measurements, or uplink transmission information.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless node (e.g., which may be a programmable logic controller (PLC), a central node, a sidelink user equipment (UE), or the like) may communicate with a base station via a first wireless communication link and with another UE (e.g., a sensor/actuator (S/A), a child node, another sidelink UE, or the like) via a second wireless communications link. The wireless node may receive, from the base station via the first wireless communication link, a grant of resources associated with the second wireless communication link, where the grant of resources is encoded with a shared radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) that is shared by both the wireless node and the UE. The wireless node may determine, based at least in part on the shared RNTI, that the grant of resources is for the UE, and forward the grant to the UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For instance, a user equipment (UE) may identify, in a radio frequency spectrum band a first resource for a sidelink synchronization signal block (S-SSB) and may perform a channel access procedure for the radio frequency spectrum band for the first resource. In a first example, a second resource for a sidelink message may overlap in time with the first resource and the UE may perform the channel access procedure based on the S-SSB being prioritized over the sidelink message. In a second example, the UE may perform the channel access procedure in accordance with a first value of a parameter for the channel access procedure associated with a first synchronization priority based on the UE being associated with the first synchronization priority. The UE may transmit an S-SSB over the first resource based on the channel access procedure indicating availability.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for indicating and determining whether one or more of multiple uplink transmissions scheduled by a common downlink control information (DCI) are based on a channel occupancy time (COT) initiated by the UE, a COT initiated by the network entity, or a combination of COTs initiated by the UE and network entity. The determination may be based on a direct indication in the DCI for one or more of the multiple uplink transmissions. The determination may also be based on determining the type of COT for the remaining uplink transmissions not directly indicated by the DCI. For example, the DCI may indicate a COT type for only a first one of the multiple uplink transmissions and the UE determines a COT type for the remaining uplink transmissions based on various conditions and criteria.
