    Abstract: An apparatus configured to, based at least in part on (i) first audio content from a first communication device of a first user, the first user in telecommunication with a second user via a second communication device; and (ii) first-user orientation information indicative of one or more of the orientation and location of the first user relative to a predetermined reference point; provide for presentation of the first audio content at the second communication device in a first presentation mode when the first-user orientation information is indicative of a first condition and in a second presentation mode, different to the first, when the first-user orientation information is indicative of a second condition different to the first condition, the first and second presentation modes providing for different presentation of the first audio content.

    Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed, configured to receive, from first and second spatial audio capture apparatuses, respective first and second composite audio signals comprising components derived from one or more sound sources in a capture space. The apparatus is further configured to identify a position of a user device corresponding to one of first and second areas respectively associated with the positions of the first and second spatial audio capture apparatuses, and to render audio representing the one or more sound sources to the user device, the rendering being performed differently dependent on, for the spatial audio capture apparatus associated with the identified first or second area, whether or not individual audio signals from each of the one or more sound sources can be successfully separated from its composite signal.

    Abstract: Embodiments herein relate generally to changing spatial audio fields that are defined for audio sources. In the embodiments, the spatial audio fields are indicated to a user performing audio mixing, for instance by displaying them as polygons on a touch screen. The spatial audio fields move as the related audio sources move, and/or as the position of a notional consumer changes. Apparatus of the embodiments is configured to detect whether at any time (initially, or after movement) there is overlapping of two spatial audio fields. If an overlap is detected, this is indicated to a user performing audio mixing The apparatus then responds to a user input (e.g. a gesture on the touch screen) by detecting the nature of the user input and then moving or sizing one or both of overlapping spatial audio fields and such that overlapping is avoided or reduced.
