Abstract: Disclosed is an uplink (UL) multi-user (MU) transmission method by a station (STA) in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system. The uplink multi-user transmission method by an STA in a WLAN system according to the present invention includes the steps of: receiving a trigger frame including resource unit allocation information for orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) transmission; transmitting a UL MU physical protocol data unit (PPDU) frame, on the basis of frequency resource allocation information; and receiving an ACK frame for the UL MU PPDU.

Abstract: The present document relates to a method for allocating resources for multi-user or multi-station (STA) data transmission in a wireless LAN system, and an apparatus therefor. To this end, an AP generates a frame including a signaling field and a data field, wherein the signaling field includes a first signaling field (SIG A field) comprising common control information for a plurality of STAs and a second signaling field (SIG B field) comprising user specific control information for each of the plurality of STAs, the second signaling field also comprising data transmission resource allocation information for each of the plurality of STAs. The AP transmits the thus generated frame to the plurality of STAs. If the frame is transmitted with a bandwidth of 40 MHz or greater, the second signaling field transmits independent control information in two adjacent 20 MHz bands, and the second signaling field, transmitted through a specific 20 MHz band, comprises data transmission resource allocation information within the specific 20 MHz band.

Abstract: An access point device and method for: generating and transmitting a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) including a plurality of resource units on a bandwidth, where the plurality of resource units includes a first tone unit and a second tone unit. The first tone unit includes a total of 26 tones, where 2 pilot tones for the first tone unit are included in the total of 26 tones. The second tone unit includes a plurality of tones being greater than the total of 26 tones. The 4 pilot tones for the second tone unit are included in the plurality of tones. The locations of a plurality of pilot tones for the plurality of resource units are fixed when two first tone units are included in the plurality of resource units in place of the second tone unit.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and device for downlink multi-user (DL MU) transmission in a wireless communication system. In particular, the method for downlink multi-user data transmission in the wireless communication system includes the steps of receiving, by a station (STA), a DL MU data frame from an access point (AP) and transmitting, by the STA, an acknowledgement (ACK) frame in response to the DL MU data frame, wherein a plurality of ACK frames transmitted by a plurality of STAs in response to the DL MU data frame is multiplexed to configure an uplink multi-user (UP MU) ACK frame, and the time and/or size of a frequency resource at which the ACK frame is transmitted may be determined according to the level of a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) that is applied to the ACK frame.

Abstract: The present specification presents a configuration technique of a field for control information in a wireless communication system. Specifically, presented is a configuration technique of a signal field including user-specific information in a wireless LAN system. A plurality of MCS techniques are applied to each field of a signal field, according to the present embodiment, and each field can be ordered according to the MCS techniques. The signal field according to the present embodiment can be used for a single user or multiple users, wherein the length of each field can be determined for blind decoding of the single user and the multiple users. The signal field according to the present embodiment can be an SIG-B field according to a wireless LAN standard.
