    Abstract: The present invention relates to a flexible display device comprising: a first body, a second body configured to be movable relative to the first body, a flexible display part disposed to be exposed to the front side of the first body and the back side of the second body, and a link module that guides the first body and second body to move relative to each other, wherein the link module fixes the first body and the second body to each other to prevent the first body and the second body from moving closer to or away from each other when the first body and the second body have been positioned to be spaced a pre-configured distance apart from each other.

    Abstract: A mobile terminal includes a first frame, a second frame slidably-movable in a first direction or in a second direction opposite to the first direction from the first frame, a slide frame movable in the first direction or in the second direction with respect to the second frame, a flexible display unit including a first region coupled to the first frame, a second region coupled to the slide frame, and a third region positioned between the first region and the second region and bent while surrounding the second frame, a driving unit disposed to be positionally biased in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction, wherein the driving unit provides a force to the second frame to move, and a linear guide positioned between the first frame and the second frame and guiding the movement of the second frame in the first direction or in the second direction. The mobile terminal may improve durability of the flexible display unit by not restricting a point where the flexible display unit is bent to a specific position.

    Abstract: A mobile terminal according to an embodiment includes a display panel having flexibility, and a support plate configured to support the display panel and to include a curved edge, at least a part of which is surrounded by the display panel. The display panel includes a base substrate, a light-emitting layer provided on the base substrate and configured to include a light-emitting element, a thin-film encapsulation layer configured to seal the light-emitting element, and a thin-film transistor (TFT) film configured to supply a signal to the light-emitting element, a polarizing film provided on the light-emitting layer, and a protective film provided on the polarizing film. The TFT film is extended from the base substrate at the curved edge to cover an edge of the base substrate.

    Abstract: A mobile terminal comprises a first frame, a second frame slidably moving in a first direction to switch a first state to a second state, a slide frame slidably moving in the first direction to correspond to sliding of the second frame, a flexible display unit including a first region coupled to the first frame, a second region coupled to the slide frame, and a third region arranged between the first region and the second region and bent to surround the second frame, and an edge curtain covering an end portion in a third direction which is vertical to the first direction of a portion arranged in a front direction of the third region at the second state. A rolling plate may be covered so as not to be exposed in a front direction, whereby esthetic external appearance may be provided.
