Abstract: The present disclosure relates to multicast session suspension and resume in wireless communications. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a user equipment (UE) may monitor a multicast session in a non-connected state, and suspend the monitoring of the multicast session. The UE may monitor a paging in the non-connected state, and based on receiving a paging message including an ID related to the multicast session and not including an ID of the UE in the non-connected state, the UE may resume the monitoring of the multicast session in the non-connected state without transitioning to a connected state.
