Abstract:
While a teleconference is occurring, data of a teleconference is analyzed to determine first participant data associated with a first speaker and second participant data associated with a second speaker. At a different application, addition of a first speaker indicator and a second speaker indicator to a text entry of a user is caused, the first speaker indicator added concurrently with identification that the first speaker is speaking and the second speaker indicator added concurrently with identification that the second speaker is speaking. At the different application, addition of key information to a text entry of a user is caused, the key information comprising participant data associated with the first speaker and second participant data associated with the second speaker.
Abstract:
Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The method computer program products, and systems can include, for instance: filtering in geofence users within an area of a geofence to determine a count of qualified in geofence users within an area of a geofence; comparing the count of qualified in geofence users within an area of a geofence to a threshold and activating a notification sending process based on a result of the comparing; based on the activating and outputting to the qualified users a notification based on the filtering; and disabling the notification sending process based on a disabling criteria being satisfied.
Abstract:
A method, computer program product, and visual display apparatus include a processor(s) obtaining, via a camera device, a unique identifier, wherein the unique identifier was captured by the image capture functionality of the camera device during a given temporal period. Based on the unique identifier, the processor(s) determines an application, where a graphical user interface of the application, when rendered through a client during the given temporal period, displayed the unique identifier (and was captured by the camera device). The processor(s) obtain, from the camera device, identifying data relevant to a user associated with the camera device. Based on the unique identifier and the identifying data, the processor(s) provides content targeted to the user.
Abstract:
Embodiments generally relate to assisting a user in joining a conference call. In some embodiments, a method includes determining that a user who has a first conference call and a second conference call that are scheduled back-to-back, where the determining of the first conference call and the second conference call being scheduled back-to-back triggers an instruction to notify the user when to join the second conference call. The method further includes determining a threshold event associated with the second call, where the threshold event is based at least in part on one or more predetermined triggering criteria. The method further includes detecting that the first conference call is still in progress and the second conference call has begun. The method further includes detecting the threshold event. The method further includes notifying the user to join the second conference call in response to detection of an occurrence of the threshold event.
Abstract:
A method, system, and/or computer program product alter a state of a transmitted message. One or more processors detect an initial broadcast of a message. The message includes a time-sensitive posting, which is related to an event that occurs at an event time. Processor(s) then compare a current time to the event time. In response to determining that the current time is within a predefined time period in proximity to the event time, processor(s) issue an instruction to alter a state of the message.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for recalling digital content utilizing contextual data are disclosed. In embodiments, a method includes: determining, by a computing device, that a user has accessed a content item from a content resource; associating, by the computing device, the content item with session data, the session data including a route between a first location and a second location; receiving, by the computing device, a first search query; determining, by the computing device, one or more potential user sessions of interest based on the first search query; receiving, by the computing device, a second search query directed to the content item; and filtering, by the computing device, search results of the second search query based on the one or more potential user sessions of interest to produce filtered search results including one or more content items associated with the session data.
Abstract:
A method and system for positioning based device control. The method includes receiving device control instructions associated with function control of a device based on a positioning of a wearable hardware device of a user. Communications between the device and the wearable hardware device are synchronized and a position signal indicating a current position of the wearable hardware device with respect to a body of the user is received. In response, a command associated with controlling a specified function of the device is received and a command is executed resulting in the specified function of the device being modified.
Abstract:
Methods, computer program products, and systems are presented. The methods include, for instance: determining a category of a domain having content documents and gathering search terms frequently used in similar domains associated with the category. A ground truth table has domain search results as discovered from searches by use of the search terms from the similar domains. Ground truths are utilized in later searches for optimal search results.
Abstract:
A method, system, and computer program product for transmitting traffic congestion routing data to a community of global positioning system (GPS) devices. Community routing logic of a community routing system (CRS) receives a route request containing the current location and desired destination of a GPS device. The CRS may use the community routing logic to determine a path that the user of the GPS device should travel on to best minimize driving time and traffic conditions for a community of users of the CRS. The CRS considers road capacity, current traffic conditions, and historical traffic data for roads and alternate roads along a preferred route. The CRS also considers routes previously taken by the GPS device. Additionally, the CRS may receive information about routes taken by other GPS devices to further improve future routes of the community of GPS devices.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide an approach for identifying commands for virtual resource instances in a networked computing environment (e.g., a cloud computing environment). Specifically, in a typical embodiment, a set of commands for an instance of a virtual resource may be received in a computer memory medium or the like. The commands may then be analyzed and information pertaining to the commands may be stored in a computer storage device or the like. When a user/requester later wishes to identify a command to be utilized for another instance of the virtual resource, the requester can access the information and make a determination as to what commands are typically utilized for similar and/or previous instances of the virtual resource.
