    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and an apparatus. A correspondence between a plurality of MCS indexes and a plurality of modulation schemes is provided to achieve flexible selection of a modulation scheme. In the correspondence, at least one MCS index of the plurality of MCS indexes corresponds to a set modulation schemes which comprises π/2 binary phase shift keying (π/2-BPSK) modulation and quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK) modulation. A first communication device receives a target modulation and coding scheme (MCS) index from a second communication device, determines a target modulation scheme corresponding to the target index number based on the correspondence, and performs communication with the second communication device based on the target modulation scheme.

    Abstract: Reference signal sequence mapping and de-mapping methods, and an apparatus are provided, to resolve a problem in a conventional technology that time-domain overheads of a reference signal of a single-carrier waveform are relatively large. In this application, a sending device maps a reference signal sequence to a modulation symbol set, to obtain a multiplexing set, where the multiplexing set occupies one single-carrier time domain symbol. Compared with a solution in which a reference signal sequence occupies one single-carrier time domain symbol, the solution in this application reduces time-domain overheads of the reference signal. In addition, to correctly perform channel estimation or channel sounding for the reference signal, different reference signal sequences meet conditions such as orthogonality or conjugate orthogonality, and locations of the reference signal sequences in different multiplexing sets further meet corresponding conditions, and so on.

    Abstract: A resource multiplexing method and apparatus are provided, to determine a set of available symbols in an NR IAB system. A first node determines a time domain position of a DU resource of a communications device, and determines a time domain position of an MT resource of the communications device based on the time domain position and a type of the DU resource and guard interval information.     Abstract: This application provides example resource configuration methods, example apparatuses, and example computer-readable storage medium. One example method includes obtaining, by a distributed unit (DU) side of a first node, a first resource configuration and at least one second resource configuration, where the first resource configuration indicates the DU side of the first node to communicate with at least one of a terminal device or a second node by using the first resource configuration, the second resource configuration indicates the DU side of the first node to communicate with the second node by using the second resource configuration, the first node is a relay node, and the second node is a child node of the first node. The DU side of the first node can then communicate with the at least one of the terminal device or the second node.

One example method includes receiving, by a first network device, configuration information of a first physical random access channel (PRACH) resource.     Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a resource configuration method and a communication apparatus. The resource configuration method includes: An integrated access and backhaul mobile terminal (IAB MT) determines a first time division duplex (TDD) configuration based on a first transmission mode. The first transmission mode includes a transmission mode on at least one frequency domain resource set in a plurality of frequency domain resource sets of an integrated access and backhaul distributed unit (IAB DU). The first TDD configuration is a cell-common TDD configuration or a dedicated TDD configuration. The IAB MT determines a resource location based on the first TDD configuration. It can be learned from the technical solution that the IAB MT selects the corresponding TDD configuration based on the transmission mode on the at least one frequency domain resource set, to determine the resource location.

    Abstract: This application discloses a channel measurement method and apparatus. A network device sends downlink signaling, to indicate or activate a beam. A terminal device determines the beam indicated or activated by using the downlink signaling, determines, based on an association relationship between a beam and a channel measurement configuration, a channel measurement configuration associated with the beam, performs channel measurement based on the channel measurement configuration, to obtain a channel measurement result, and reports the channel measurement result to the network device. According to the channel measurement solution in this application, when channel quality of a new beam needs to be measured, the network device does not need dedicated signaling to indicate a channel measurement configuration associated with the new beam. When the beam is indicated or activated, the terminal device is triggered to perform channel measurement, to implement low-latency and low-overhead channel measurement.
