    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a configuration method and apparatus. When indicating, by using an RRC connection release message, a terminal to enter an inactive state from a connected state, a network device may include, in the RRC connection release message, a configuration parameter allocated to the terminal in the inactive state. That is, the terminal receives the radio resource control RRC connection release message sent by the network device, where the RRC connection release message includes first information used to indicate a target configuration parameter. In this way, the terminal may enter the inactive state based on the RRC connection release message, and determine a context parameter of the inactive state based on the first information, so that the configuration parameter is properly allocated to the terminal in the inactive state.

    Abstract: Various embodiments provide a resource allocation method and an apparatus. In those embodiments, a terminal device obtains a first parameter indicating a maximum service data volume to be provided by an access network device for a first service in a first time length; and determines, based on the maximum service data volume, a resource of a media access control protocol data unit MAC PDU, the resource being occupied by buffered data of the first service. In those embodiments, the terminal device determines, based on the maximum service data volume of the first service, the resource of the MAC PDU. Compared with a conventional method, the maximum service data volume of the first service is considered. This helps improve reasonableness of allocating the resource of the MAC PDU to the data of the first service.

    Abstract: A resource allocation method, a terminal and an apparatus are provided. A terminal receives an uplink scheduling grant indicating an uplink resource corresponding to a first radio interface technology from an access network device; selects a logical channel set from logical channels of a terminal, where the logical channel set is a set of logical channels on which to-be-sent data exists and that correspond to the first radio interface technology, and the first radio interface technology is one of at least one radio interface technology, or a radio interface technology specified by the access network device in the at least one radio interface technology; and maps, based on a priority and a prioritized bit rate that are of each logical channel in the logical channel set and corresponding to the first radio interface technology, to-be-sent data corresponding to the logical channel set onto the uplink resource.
