Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communications technologies, and in particular, to a terminal device, an access network device, an air interface configuration method, and a wireless communications system, so as to establish a connection between a terminal device and two radio access network devices. A second access network device in a radio access network determines air interface configuration information of an air interface between a terminal device and the radio access network, and sends a first air interface configuration message comprising the air interface configuration information to a first access network device in the radio access network, where the first access network device and the second access network device use different wireless communications standards.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a wireless local area network WLAN measurement and reporting method, and a related device. The method includes: acquiring, by a user terminal, WLAN group information, where the WLAN group information indicates at least one WLAN group; determining, by the user terminal, whether at least one WLAN in the WLAN group satisfies WLAN measurement configuration information; and reporting, by the user terminal, a measurement result of the at least one WLAN in the WLAN group to a base station when the at least one WLAN in the WLAN group satisfies the WLAN measurement configuration information. Therefore, a signaling resource can be saved, thereby reducing signaling load caused by simultaneous reporting of a large quantity of WLAN measurement results.

Abstract: This application provides a network access method, an access device, and a terminal device. The access device is connected to at least two different types of core networks. When the terminal device is to connect to a core network, the terminal device sends, to the access device, a first message used to indicate a type of the terminal device. The access device determines the type of the terminal device based on the first message, and determines, based on the type of the terminal device, a target core network to be connected by the terminal device, so that the access device accurately connects the terminal device to the target core network.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method and apparatus. Before a source terminal establishes a unicast connection to a first target terminal, the source terminal allocates a first identifier to the first target terminal based on a request of a relay terminal, where a bit length of the first identifier is less than or equal to 8 bits. The source terminal sends first data to the first target terminal, where the first identifier is configured in the first data. The relay terminal forwards the first data to the first target terminal for the source terminal based on the first identifier. In the foregoing solutions, the source terminal may send a message to a specific target terminal based on the first identifier and the bit length of the first identifier is less than or equal to 8 bits.

Abstract: Embodiments of this disclosure relate to a sidelink communication method, including: A first user equipment receives a first message from a second user equipment; the first user equipment determines, based on the first message, a first frequency used to communicate with the second user equipment, where the first user equipment supports at least the first frequency and a second frequency, and the second user equipment supports at least the first frequency; and the first user equipment sends a second message to the second user equipment at the first frequency, where the second message is associated with a unicast connection establishment process or a discovery process. Therefore, the unicast connection establishment process or the discovery process can be performed on a carrier supported by all terminal devices that perform communication, to ensure that the unicast connection establishment process or the discovery process can be correctly performed, improving sidelink communication quality.
