Abstract: Method for cutting a three-dimensional model of a dental scene, or “scene model.” The method includes acquiring a view of the scene model, called the “analysis view.” The method includes analyzing the analysis view by a neural network in order to identify, in the analysis view, at least one elementary zone representing an element of the dental scene, and assigning a value to at least one attribute of the elementary zone. The method includes identifying a region of the scene model represented by the elementary zone on the analysis view, and assigning, in the region, a value to an attribute of the scene model in accordance with the value of the attribute of the elementary zone.

Abstract: A system for manufacturing an orthodontic appliance. A scanner for creating a numerical three-dimensional initial reference model of at least a part of a patient's arch including one or more teeth. An image acquisition device for acquiring at least one two-dimensional updated image of the arch. The image acquisition device is positioned and oriented in space, relative to the teeth, under actual acquisition conditions. A computer for creating a numerical three-dimensional objective reference model, corresponding to a desired positioning, at a time point of a treatment, of the teeth, and deforming the initial reference model by moving one or more teeth of the initial reference model, to obtain an updated reference model corresponding to the positioning of the teeth on the two-dimensional updated image. A device for manufacturing an orthodontic appliance, based on a comparison, executed by the computer, between the updated reference model and the objective reference model.

For each updated image, search for virtual acquisition conditions suitable for an acquisition of a reference image of the updated reference model exhibiting a maximum match with the updated image, and acquisition of the reference image. Identification, in the reference image, of at least one reference tooth zone representing a tooth model by comparison of the updated image and the reference image determination of an updated tooth zone representing the tooth model. Assignment, to the updated tooth zone, of the tooth attribute value or values of the tooth model. Addition of the updated image enriched with value or values in the learning base.
