摘要: A crop harvesting header with a cutter bar and a draper assembly has a draper canvas driven by a drive roller with a cylindrical roller body having an outer surface surrounding an axis of rotation of the roller for engaging an inner drive surface of a canvas wrapped therearound. The roller has a plurality of ribs arranged on the outer surface of the roller body extending along a part of the body in an axial direction and angularly spaced around the outer surface. The ribs have a height less than 6 mm and a width less than 6 mm arranged such that the ribs do not engage into any recesses in the drive surface of the canvas.

摘要: Onychomycosis is a fungal infection of the nail bed and is difficult to treat topically because penetration of the nail plate is difficult, and systemic antifungal treatments are prone to side effects and drug interactions. The present invention treats onychomycosis by applying an antifungal composition to the nail bed directly using a solid, semi-solid, or flowable carrier. The carrier can be in the form of a semi-solid into which the user digs and scrapes the nail, a solid carrier can be inserted directly under the nail in contact with the nail bed, or a flowable composition can be injected in contact with the nail bed.

摘要: A method of making a stabilized aerosol drug formulation is disclosed, along with the formulations so produced and metered drug inhalers containing the same. The method comprises combining a solid particulate drug composition with a fluoropolymer in a liquid fluorocarbon aerosol propellant to form a stable suspension. Further stabilization can be achieved by cooling the suspension for a time and to a temperature sufficient to adsorb the fluoropolymer to the solid particulate drug composition in the liquid fluorocarbon aerosol propellant. Preferred propellants for carrying out the invention are 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane, heptafluoropropane, and mixtures thereof, and preferred fluoropolymers for carrying out the invention are fluoropolyethers.

摘要: The identity of a calling subscriber unit (106) is provided to a called subscriber unit(s) (106') by requiring the calling subscriber to identify itself (112) to a central station (102 and 104a-c) and request across to the communicaiton resources. The central station forwards the identity of the calling subscriber to the called subscriber (114), which enables the called subscriber to decide whether to respond to (answer) the call. If the called subscriber responds, an RF communication link between the two subscriber units is established. Conversely, if the called subscriber does not respond (or responds negatively), the calling subscriber unit is provided with a "Busy" indication. Optionally, the central station may operate as a system-wide message recorder to store messages from calling subscribers for non-responding (Busy) subscribers. In this way, a calling subscriber may leave a message for later retrieval.

摘要: Apparatus for center notching an insulated electrical conductor includes two pairs of cutting blades that circumferentially slice the insulation at predetermined locations along the insulated electrical conductor to thereby define a slug of insulation. A jaw with a knife edge is located in each of the four quadrants about the insulated electrical conductor axis. The jaws travel in respective rectangular paths in a four stroke cycle. During the first stroke the jaws are translated toward a first plane passing longitudinally through the insulated electrical conductor axis with the knife edges in a separated configuration. During the second stroke the jaws translate toward a second plane perpendicular to the first plane to close the jaws and cause the knife edges to longitudinally penetrate the insulation slug. During the third stroke the jaws are translated away from the first plane with the knife edges in the closed configuration to thereby strip the insulation slug from the conductor. During the fourth stroke the jaws translate away from the second plane to return the knife edges to the open configuration.

摘要: An upper furnace portion (A) includes side walls (12, 14) extending along its lower edge. A dimensionally stable furnace hearth (B) is movably mounted adjacent the furnace lower edge and is displaced a small distance from the side walls, such that the hearth is movable without engaging the side walls, yet sufficiently close that relatively little heat tends to pass between the hearth and the side walls. The hearth includes a metal base plate (20) to which a plurality of vertically extending anchoring plates (26) are connected and supported by gussets (30). A plurality of wires (28) are welded to the anchoring plates and extend into peripheral refractory elements (24) which are integrally molded to the wires and the anchoring plates. A plurality of refractory slabs (34) and bricks (36) are supported by the base plate and are disposed within an area defined by the peripheral refractory elements to define a workpiece supporting surface. A plurality of expansion joints (32) permit the peripheral refractory elements to be constrained against outward or radial movement, and a plurality of expansion joints (32 ) accommodate circumferential or longitudinal expansion. Further expansion joints (38, 40) extend within the peripheral refractory elements and through the refractory slabs and bricks (34, 36) to permit thermal expansion thereof.
