摘要: Transferring data between devices utilizing state data. The devices may include a writer device and a reader device, each coupled to a common bus. A host device may create a transfer session between the devices. Each of the host device, the writer device, and the reader device may maintain state data of the transfer session. The host device may notify at least one of the reader device or the writer device of a state change from a disabled state to an enabled state. After enabling, data may be transferred directly between the writer device and the reader device without involving the host device. Finally, the host device may notify at least one of the reader device or the writer device of a state change from the enabled state to the disabled state. After disabling, the direct transfer of data between the writer device and the reader device may be stopped.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for linking a web identity and a portable device to provide web access to a user from a vehicle. An example system includes a presence agent that may be configured to validate the presence of the portable device in the vehicle by recognizing a device identifier saved on the portable device. After the presence of the portable device is validated, a security manager may receive a user identifier, and verify if the user identifier corresponds with a known user value. Then, the security manager may send a user identity secure proxy to a credential manager. The credential manager may be configured to receive the user identity secure proxy, and in response, pass one or more credentials to a computing device onboard the vehicle. The credentials may indicate that the user is authorized to access one or more web services from the computing device.

摘要: Line system design techniques are provided for use in performing routing and coloring operations associated with one or more demands. In one aspect of the invention, a technique for designing a line system comprises the following steps/operations. A set of one or more demands is obtained for use in computing the line system design. The line system design is then represented as a graph in accordance with a graph coloring operation wherein colors represent bandwidths such that bandwidths are assigned and the one or more demands are routed so as to attempt to achieve a minimum total design cost. The line system being designed may be an optical line system.

摘要: A navigation device includes a communication subsystem and a navigation subsystem. The communication subsystem communicates with a remote navigation database via a gateway using variable-size data payloads. Each variable-size data payload is accompanied by a content-identifier and a size-identifier. The navigation subsystem determines a current position of the navigation device and encodes the current position of the navigation device as one or more position payloads that are sent from the communication subsystem to the remote navigation database via the gateway. Each position payload is sent with an accompanying content-identifier and size-identifier.

摘要: Network design techniques and techniques for routing virtually-concatenated data traffic in a network in a manner which distributes delay to intermediate nodes of the network are disclosed. For example, in one aspect of the invention, a technique for routing virtually-concatenated data traffic in a network comprising a plurality of nodes comprises, for a given traffic demand to be routed from a source node to a destination node in the network, the following steps/operations. Two or more paths are determined to route the given traffic demand. Each of the two or more paths correspond to a member of a virtually-concatenated group. At least one path of the two or more paths comprises the source node, the destination node and at least one other node coupled between the source node and the destination node. Further, at least a subset of the source node, the destination node and the one other node buffer at least a portion of the given traffic demand such that a delay is distributed over the at least one path. The given traffic demand is routed over the two or more determined paths. The at least one path is preferably the shorter of the two or more determined paths.

An example system may include a profiler module executed by an onboard computing device of the vehicle, and configured to aggregate vehicle event data from a plurality of vehicle-based event sources, and to develop user profile data based on the vehicle event data. A communication agent may also be executed by the onboard computing device, and configured to transmit the user profile data to an advertising service executed on an advertising server via a communication network. The communication agent may also be configured to retrieve an advertisement from the advertising service. The advertisement may be selected based on content of the user profile data. The system may also include an interface module executed by the onboard computing device, and configured to present the advertisement via a display, and/or speaker associated with the onboard computing device.

摘要: A HVAC system is provided having a three in one door bracket. The door bracket is configured to mount a door on the HVAC and to secure wiring within the HVAC. Various door arrangements may be used with the exemplary door bracket and at least one wire, or a plurality of wires, may be secured in the wire retention area of the door bracket. The door bracket can mount a variety of doors, regardless of the fastener requirements because of the dual fastener areas on the bracket.
