    Abstract: Methods and systems for dynamically navigating content are provided. Media content is generated for display on a user device. A selectable indicator for incrementally skipping through the media content is also generated. An input indicating selection of the selectable indicator is received and, in response to receiving the input indicating the selection of the selectable indicator, at least two selectable navigation settings are generated for display. Each navigation setting is associated with a navigation interval within the content. An input of the selection of the navigation setting and the navigation interval is received. The current play position of the media content item is shifted based on the selected navigation setting and the navigation interval.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for displaying content within an icon/tile associated with an executable streaming media application without launching the associated executable streaming media application are disclosed. The methods display a plurality of icons relating to streaming media applications on a home screen of a user interface. An automatic selection of one or more icons is made based on a selection criterion. Upon determining a trigger, content referenced in a manifest file is accessed and displayed within the boundaries of the selected icon. The content is selected based one or more factors. The content displayed is deep-linked to a media asset associated with the content. The manifest file is updated, and a personalized manifest file based on user consumption history and display device parameters is received. The content from the updated manifest file is played within the icon.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided herein for enabling the improved reception of multiple inputs at a user interface. A content item is received at a computing device, and metadata associated with the content item is received. A number of users that are in proximity to the computing device is determined, and an interactive content item is identified based on the metadata and the number of users. A visual representation of the users is accessed. A user interface is generated for output. The user interface comprises the interactive content item, which comprises at least one user interface element associated with each user, and the visual representation of the users. An input selecting a user interface element associated with each user is received. An indication of the received input and the user with whom the input is associated are stored to a data structure, and at least a part is transmitted.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for allocating computation capability. A network compute orchestrator (NCO) receives a request for service from a requester device. The NCO determines a required compute grade requirement for the service, and a maximum acceptable latency for the service. The NCO accesses a data structure that stores for each of a network arrangement of network devices: a number and type of available compute units, and latency to the requester device. The NCO selects a network device of the network arrangement of network devices that has an available compute unit meeting the required compute grade requirement, and has latency to the requester device that is lower than the maximum acceptable latency for the service. The NCO causes the selected network device of the network arrangement of network devices to perform the requested service for the requester device.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for analyzing predictive movements are disclosed herein. In an embodiment, a system identifies an entity in a video feed of an event and generates for display a prompt for a user to perform a predictive movement to predict an action of the entity in the video feed. The system uses computer vision techniques to analyze the action taken by the entity in the video feed and the predictive movement performed by the user prior to display of the action on the user's display device. If the system determines that the predictive movement matches the action taken by the entity, the system identifies the predictive movement as a correct prediction.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described to selectively stream content based on parental control ratings. At a client device, a manifest identifying sequential segments of a media asset and versions of a particular segment of the sequential segments may be received, and a graphical user interface may be generated for display to simultaneously depict a respective portion of each respective version of the particular segment and respective selectable options associated with each respective version of the particular segment. A selection of a first option may be received that is associated with a first version of the particular segment, and during playing of the media asset, in response to determining that the particular segment is the next segment to be played, the first version of the particular segment may be requested from the server.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for adjusting a sound level during a conference call are disclosed herein. Conferencing application receives an audio input including a first sound and a second sound. A user selectable element is generated for each sound in an user interface, where a user selection setting a first user selectable element associated with the first sound at a user-specified level is received. The sound level for the first sound is adjusted based on the user selection and output at the user-specified level while the second sound is output at a default sound level.
