Abstract: Aspects for time bundling an SRS resource over a plurality of instances are disclosed. The apparatus may include a user equipment (UE). The user equipment may receive a configuration from a base station for time-bundling at least one sounding reference signal (SRS) resource. The time-bundling may be performed by the UE transmitting a plurality of SRS signals at different times using an identical center frequency and at least two different frequency resource allocations. The UE may transmit the plurality of SRS signals based on the configuration.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) receives scheduling information for Sounding Reference Signal (SRS) for positioning that includes multiple reserved occasions to transmit the SRS. The multiple reserved occasions may be used on all or on only a subset of configured SRS resources. The UE transmits the positioning SRS on a reserved occasion that is first available for transmission, e.g., without collision or other restrictions of transmission of the SRS. The UE does not transmit the positioning SRS on any earlier reserved occasions that is not available or any subsequent reserved occasions. The base station may attempt to decode the SRS on each reserved occasion until the positioning SRS is transmitted. The base station may reassign unused reserved occasions to other UEs or to other channels. The base station may report positioning measurements with associated time stamps for the reserved occasion on which the positioning SRS was received.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) generates a positioning state information (PSI) report that is transmitted in a lower layer channel container, e.g., in the Physical channel or Medium Access Control channel, to a network entity to reduce latency. For example, the PSI report is generated based on a plurality of PSI report elements determined from uplink (UL), downlink (DL) or UL and DL positioning measurements. Each PSI report element includes information related to positioning measurements performed by the UE. The PSI report elements are ordered, e.g., from highest priority to lowest priority, according to priority based rules. If the size of the PSI report elements is larger than the lower layer channel container, one or more of the low priority PSI report elements are omitted from the PSI report. A network entity may receive and process the PSI report based on the same priority based rules.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, over a wireless communication network operating in accordance with a first radio access technology (RAT), a configuration to provide at least one positioning state information (PSI) report, the first RAT associated with at least one first positioning technology, the configuration associated with at least one second RAT, at least one second positioning technology, or both to be used to estimate a location of the UE, obtains at least a first set of positioning measurements using the at least one second RAT, the at least one second positioning technology, or both, and transmits the at least one PSI report on physical resources allocated for a physical uplink or sidelink channel of the first RAT, the at least one PSI report including at least the first set of positioning measurements.
