    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive signaling indicating a configuration for communicating to the UE a random access response of a random access procedure. The configuration may indicate a first quantity of instances of control information associated with the random access response in a set of slots and a portion of the time window configured for the first quantity of instances. The UE may monitor the set of slots for instances of the control information and receive a second quantity of instances of the control information for the UE in a first subset of slots of the set of slots. The second quantity of instances may be less than the first quantity of instances. The UE may combine the instances of the control information from the first subset of slots and decode the random access response based on combining the instances.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may support channel state information (CSI) operations, such as CSI reporting. A UE may identify a change in CSI pertaining to communications with a base station or any other change in communications with a base station. The UE may transmit, to the base station and based on the change in CSI, a CSI scheduling request, which may include an indication to activate or grant resources for a CSI report transmission from the UE to the base station. The UE may receive, from the base station, a CSI report trigger based on the CSI scheduling request, and transmit, in response to receipt of the CSI report trigger, a CSI report over a physical layer uplink channel (e.g., a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH)).

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may establish a first connection with a source base station. The UE may determine that a handover procedure is being performed for establishing a second connection with a target base station. The UE may monitor, during a monitoring period instantiated at a physical layer of a protocol stack of the UE, for a control signal acknowledging success of the handover procedure from a target base station. The UE may transmit, based at least in part on a result of the monitoring during the monitoring period, a physical layer signal or a medium access control layer signal to the source base station indicating that the handover procedure was unsuccessful based at least in part on a failure to successfully receive and decode the control signal.

Generally, the described techniques provide for reporting content processing times to a base station to allow the base station to efficiently schedule bi-directional communications one or more UEs. A content processing time may correspond to the time taken by a UE to process one or more downlink signals received in one or more downlink transmissions. In some examples, the UE may report a content processing time for each downlink transmission. In some examples, the UE may report one or more content processing times for multiple downlink transmissions. The base station may use the content processing times to configure an appropriate gap between downlink and uplink transmissions such that the UE may have sufficient time to process downlink signals before transmitting one or more uplink transmissions in response to the one or more downlink transmissions.

    Abstract: Search space-BFR time occasions may overlap with other search space occasions. Additionally, if any CORESET other than a CORESET-BFR has lowest CORESET ID, the UE will prioritize receiving that CORESET and may miss the BFR response. Accordingly, assigning a priority to CORESETs or search spaces during BFR may be preferable. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may allocate a set of time-frequency resources to a plurality of CORESETs or a plurality of search spaces. The apparatus may assign a priority to each of the plurality of CORESETs or the plurality of search spaces. The apparatus may assign a highest priority to a CORESET for BFR or a search space for BFR.

A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling that configures a channel measurement resource and an interference measurement resource within a same time interval. The UE may transmit a measurement report that indicates a signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) measurement that is generated based on measuring the channel measurement resource and the interference measurement resource. In some cases, the UE may receive a quasi co-location (QCL) relationship indicator that indicates a QCL relationship for the interference measurement resource or the channel measurement resource. The UE may measure the channel measurement resource and the interference measurement resource in accordance with the QCL relationship.
