Abstract: Frequency-dependent changes in beam shapes of transmitted RF signals can be provided to a receiving device. Beam shape information can include, for example, gain of a beam and a plurality of azimuth and elevation directions, boresight and width of a main lobe (and optionally side lobes) of the beam, information regarding a pattern of antenna elements of an antenna panel used to transmit the beam, and/or similar information. The type of information provided can dictate the amount of overhead required, and we therefore vary depending on the means by which the information is conveyed. Additional detail is provided in the embodiments described herein.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a base station determines a channel profile for a multipath channel between the base station and a user equipment (UE) based on at least one positioning reference signal transmitted to the UE or received from the UE by the base station on one or more radio beams, compresses the channel profile into a compressed representation of the channel profile, and transmits the compressed representation of the channel profile to a network entity. The network entity receives the compressed representation of the time-angle channel profile and determines a location of the UE based on the compressed representation of the channel profile.

Abstract: Techniques for a high-accuracy determination the position of a light user equipment (UE) using a single base station are presented. This is accomplished by leveraging communications with a premium UE having a known location relative to the base station. Wireless reference signals measured by the light UE and premium UE, along with a reference signal from the light UE to the premium UE, can be used to determine the position of the light UE geometrically. The determination can be made by the light UE, premium UE, or a location server, depending on desired functionality.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, devices, and systems for full-duplex communications in wireless networks. Some implementations more specifically relate to multiple bandwidth parts (BWPs), active concurrently, for communications in a given direction (such as a downlink (DL) direction or an uplink (UL) direction) between a user equipment (UE) and a base station. For example, a first active BWP may be used for DL or UL communications in a half-duplex (HD) slot and a second active BWP may be used for DL or UL communications in an adjacent full-duplex (FD) slot. In some implementations, the UE may further change a status of one or more active BWPs after a given amount of time has elapsed. For example, the UE may change the states of an active BWP by deactivating the active BWP, switching the active BWP to a default BWP, or changing a role assigned to the active BWP.

Abstract: A UE may receive a configuration of one or more SP resources for CLI and/or SI measurement, and receive, from the base station, a MAC-CE activating the configured one or more SP resources for CLI and/or SI measurements.
