Abstract: In a watermark embedding method and apparatus, a layered three-dimensional model is aligned in a printing direction based on a layering direction of the layered three-dimensional model. Then, a watermark having a predetermined pattern is embedded into the aligned three-dimensional model in a direction orthogonal to the printing direction so that the embedded watermark is not associated with the printing direction.

Abstract: Disclosed are a microaspiration-based lung window apparatus for obtaining a microscopic image of in vivo lung tissue and a method for using the window apparatus to obtain cell-level and molecular level microscopic images of in vivo lung tissue while maintaining physiological respiration and circulation of an animal without interference. In one embodiment, a lung window apparatus comprises an open window having the upper and lower parts open, a cover glass placed over the upper part and lung tissue coming in contact with the lower part; an aspiration tube extending from one side of the open window to an aspiration apparatus enabling the inside of the open window to be in a vacuum state; and a tilting mount placing unit extending from one side of the open window having a tilting mount to enable the cover glass and an object lens of a confocal microscope system to stay parallel to each other.

Abstract: Embodiments provide a methane microporous carbon adsorbent including a thermally-treated CVD carbon having a shape in the form of a negative replica of a crystalline zeolite has a BET specific surface area, a micropore volume, a micropore to mesopore volume ratio, a stored methane value and a methane delivered value and a sequential carbon synthesis method for forming the methane microporous carbon adsorbent. Introducing an organic precursor gas for a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) period to a crystalline zeolite that is maintained at a CVD temperature forms the carbon-zeolite composite. Introducing a non-reactive gas for a thermal treatment period to the carbon-zeolite composite maintained at a thermal treatment temperature forms the thermally-treated carbon-zeolite composite. Introducing an aqueous strong mineral acid mixture to the thermally-treated carbon-zeolite composite forms the methane microporous carbon adsorbent. The crystalline zeolite includes tri-ethanolamine (TEA) and has a shape that is orthogonal with a mid-edge length in a range of 8 μm to 20 μm.

Abstract: An optically trapped atom transfer tweezer includes an optical modulator which modulates incident light and generates a first hologram; a first lens which images the first hologram on an intermediate image plane and generates a first holographic image having any potential shape; a second lens which re-images the first holographic image on an entrance pupil of a third lens; the third lens which re-images a second hologram generated by the re-imaging of the second lens on a plane where an optically trapped atom array exists; a photographing device which captures optically trapped cold atoms from a second holographic image generated on the plane where an optically trapped atom array exists; and a controller which controls the optical modulator to adjust the second holographic image on the basis of the optically trapped atom image captured by the photographing device such that the optically trapped atom array is transferred to any spatial position.

Abstract: The present invention provides an antimicrobial peptide polymer comprising at least one monomer which is digested by pepsin, a multimeric antimicrobial peptide complex comprising the polymer and a cell surface anchoring motif linked to the polymer, an antimicrobial microorganism displaying the multimeric antimicrobial peptide complex, an antimicrobial composition comprising the same, a method of treating an infectious disease caused by bacteria, yeast or fungi by administering the antimicrobial composition, and a method for producing the antimicrobial microorganism. According to the invention, living microorganisms displaying an antimicrobial peptide on the cell surface thereof may be administered in vivo without having to lyse the microbial cell and isolate and purify the antimicrobial peptide, so that the antimicrobial peptide exhibits antimicrobial activity. Thus, the antimicrobial peptide may be produced at significantly reduced costs so that it may have widespread use.
