Abstract: Bandwidth part (BWP) switching may benefit a wireless communications system. Such BWP switching may include indication of one or more timing parameters used for time domain resource allocation. For example, the timing parameters may be indicated based on an index to a look-up table (e.g., a bit field in a control transmission). In some cases, one or more tables may be configured for a given BWP, and different tables may contain a different number of rows. The size of the bit field indexing the table may in turn depend on the number of rows. When switching from a first BWP to a second BWP, the size of the bit field may be based on the table of the first BWP, but the bit field may index the table of the second BWP. Techniques supporting improved timing parameter management during BWP switching are discussed herein.

In some aspects, the set of scheduling request occasions may be arranged according to a non-uniform spacing pattern in the time domain. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit uplink transmissions according to a frequency hopping pattern. The UE may identify that a first set of uplink transmissions are to be transmitted to a base station by a first set of resources (e.g., a first set of slots, a first set of frequency resources) as indicated by the frequency hopping pattern. The UE may further identify, based on the frequency hopping pattern, that a second set of uplink transmissions are to be transmitted to the base station by a second set of resources (e.g., a second set of slots, a second set of frequency resources). The first set of slots and the second set of slots may each include more than one slot. Additionally, the first and second set of resources may be within a same bandwidth part or in different bandwidth parts.

Distributing the control channel information in segments or spans over time affords improved decoding timing in a UE in the scheduled cell.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes transmitting, to a base station, an indication comprising a per slot capability for a first number of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) blind decodes and a first number of control channel elements (CCEs). The method also includes receiving, from the base station, a search space configuration based on the indication. The search space configuration configures a second number of blind decodes per slot, a second number of CCEs per slot, and a PDCCH monitoring periodicity. The method also includes decoding a PDCCH based on the search space configuration.
