Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel estimation for two-stage sidelink control using sidelink data channel demodulation reference signals (DMRS). A user equipment (UE) can transmit DMRS for the sidelink data channel. The UE may transmit the second stage of the sidelink control using antenna ports or a precoder used for the sidelink data channel. The receiving device may receive the DMRS, estimate the channel, and demodulate the second stage of the sidelink control based on the estimated channel. The receiving device may flexibly determine the DMRS to use for the estimation and demodulation.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein improve congestion control mechanism for UEs with multiple TRPs, where at least one of the SL RSSI measurement, the CBR measurement, the CR evaluation and/or the congestion control mechanism for the UE is optimized. Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a road-side unit (RSU) may join a first sidelink (SL) ranging session between a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE. The RSU may perform SL ranging with the first UE to determine first ranging information comprising at least a RTT to the first UE. The RSU may perform SL ranging with the second UE to determine second ranging information comprising at least a RTT to the second UE. The RSU may send the first ranging information and the second ranging information to at least one of the first UE or the second UE, or calculate a range between the first UE and the second UE based on the first ranging information and the second ranging information, and send the range to at least one of the first UE and the second UE.
