Abstract: Aspects are provided allowing a UE to perform early termination of repetitions of an ongoing PUSCH transmission in response to a DCI from a base station indicating whether a prior PUSCH transmission or repetition was successfully decoded. The UE obtains information configuring an uplink data transmission and a repetition of the uplink data transmission. The UE sends the uplink data transmission to a base station. The UE terminates the repetition of the uplink data transmission in response to reception of downlink information in a downlink control channel. Thus, UE power reduction and enhanced resource efficiency may be achieved. Moreover, the repetition is terminated after a time gap following a CORESET where the downlink control channel is received. As a result, a start time for terminating PUSCH repetitions may be configured to accommodate various timing considerations such as dynamic TDD, different numerologies between PDCCH and PUSCH, and multiple PUSCH processing capabilities.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a mobile station may receive a configuration that indicates a number of nominal repetitions associated with an uplink repetition type that does not permit uplink transmission occasions to cross a slot boundary and that permits only one uplink transmission occasion per slot. The mobile station may transmit an actual repetition of the uplink repetition type in a transmission occasion based at least in part on a determination that the transmission occasion has resources available for the actual repetition, wherein the transmission occasion is a slot. The mobile station may terminate transmission of actual repetitions of the uplink repetition type when a number of actual repetitions equals the number of nominal repetitions. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to maintain phase coherence for repetitions of uplink channel transmissions across slot boundaries. One example method includes receiving, from a network entity, phase coherence configuration information indicating that the UE is to maintain phase coherence for repetitions of uplink channel transmissions that cross slot boundaries; receiving scheduling information scheduling a plurality of repetitions of an uplink channel transmission; determining, based on the scheduling information, that the scheduled plurality of repetitions of the uplink channel transmission will cross one or more slot boundaries; and transmitting the plurality of repetitions of the uplink channel transmission based on the scheduling information and the phase coherence configuration information.

POSITIONING REFERENCE SIGNAL (PRS) MEASUREMENT WINDOW ADAPTATION

Abstract: Disclosed are various techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, the time that a user equipment (UE) spends on performing positioning reference signal (PRS) measurements is reduced, by lengthening the PRS measurement period (P) and/or by reducing the PRS symbol duration (K). These modifications may be performed by the UE or by a location management server or other network node and may be made in consideration of the UE's mobility status and other environmental or operating conditions of the UE. In an aspect, a network entity may determine P and K to be used by the UE, and may indicate, to the UE, the P and the K to be used by the UE for measuring at least one PRS. The UE may then use the P and the K for measuring at least one PRS.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus for determining a target base station timing advance value between a user equipment (UE) and target base station in connection with a random access channel (RACH)-less handover procedure. In one aspect, the UE may determine the target base station's timing advance based at least in part on a timing difference between the target base station and the source base station and based at least in part on a timing offset associated with an uplink and a downlink of the UE. In some aspects, the target base station may determine the timing advance using an uplink reference signal of the UE. In some aspects, the UE may report a timing difference between the target base station and the source base station, and the source cell may determine a timing advance based at least in part on the timing difference.
