Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an uplink grant that indicates scheduling information for an uplink shared channel transmission by the UE. The UE may also receive a downlink grant scheduling feedback information to be piggybacked on the uplink shared channel transmission, and may determine whether the downlink grant has been received after the uplink grant. The UE may then select from a set of resources indicated in the uplink grant, or determine that a feedback piggybacking condition has been met based on the downlink grant. The UE may perform the uplink shared channel transmission to the base station, in some cases including the feedback information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A device (e.g., a base station or a user equipment (UE)) may identify a sequence length corresponding to a number of resource blocks, and select a modulation scheme based on the sequence length. The device may select, from a set of sequences associated with the modulation scheme, a sequence having the sequence length. In some examples, the set of sequences may include at least one of a set of time domain phase shift keying computer-generated sequences or a set of frequency domain phase shift keying computer-generated sequences. The device may generate a reference signal for a data transmission based on the sequence and transmit the reference signal within the number of resource blocks.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for multiplexing channel state information (CSI) reports in scenarios involving multiple transmit-receive points (TRPs). In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive at least one configuration that identifies a resource for multiplexing CSI reports that have a potential to collide in a slot. The UE may receive the at least one configuration from either, or both, of a first TRP or a second TRP. The UE may transmit at least one of a first set of CSI reports to the first TRP or a second set of CSI reports to the second TRP, multiplexed in the resource, according to the at least one configuration.

According to one or more aspects, a device, such as a user equipment (UE), may receive, from one or more base stations during a first time unit, a control signal including an indication of a reference signal bundling configuration associated with one or more physical channel types which may be potentially scheduled during a set of time units after the first time unit. The UE may determine the set of time units based on the indication of the reference signal bundling configuration. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may receive scheduling configuration of one or more physical channels, and the one or more physical channels during one or more second time units of the set of time units. The UE may then bundle the one or more physical channels based on the reference signal bundling configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a base station or other network entity may allocate uplink resources to UEs, or groups of UEs, that are subsequently reallocated. For example, a base station may determine a reallocation of uplink resources and issue a cancellation or preemption indication that may correspond to at least a portion of the previously-allocated resources (e.g., as allocated to particular UEs). UEs may be configured to monitor for cancellation or preemption indications, and based on received cancellation or preemption indications, UEs may determine whether or not to proceed with an uplink transmission using their previously-allocated uplink resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for a user equipment (UE) to adjust a random access message that is transmitted to a base station in an asynchronous uplink transmission. The UE may use a constrained mapping of time and frequency resources for the random access message or transmit all portions of the message in a continuous transmission. The UE may also adjust the timing of the portions of the message. The base station may use a portion of the message, such as a preamble, to perform channel estimation for another portion of the message, such as a payload, to improve decoding of the transmitted message. Additionally, the UE may configure a waveform of the message to improve the continuous transmission of the message, for example by reducing interference between portions of the message.

Generally, the described techniques provide for efficiently determining whether to transmit an uplink transmission scheduled by a semi-static grant or a dynamic uplink transmission scheduled by a dynamic grant when the dynamic uplink transmission conflicts with the uplink transmission scheduled by the semi-static grant. In particular, if a user equipment (UE) determines that a dynamic grant is received within a threshold time before an uplink transmission scheduled by a semi-static grant, the UE may transmit the uplink transmission scheduled by the semi-static grant and refrain from transmitting the dynamic transmission. Alternatively, if the UE determines that a dynamic grant is received in advance of a threshold time before an uplink transmission scheduled by a semi-static grant, the UE may transmit the dynamic transmission and refrain from transmitting the uplink transmission scheduled by the semi-static grant.
