Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a first control message that includes a mapping of each security key of a set of security keys to respective security key identifiers. The UE may identify that a first security key identifier is associated with one or more channels to be used for communications between the UE and the base station. In some cases, the UE may receive a control message that schedules communications via the one or more channels. The first security key identifier may be associated with a first security key of the set of security keys. The UE may communicate with the base station using the first security key. The communications with the base station may be secured using the first security key.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for beam indication set reuse. A method for a wireless communication that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving signaling configuring the UE with a beam indication set. The method includes receiving an indication to apply the configured beam indication set to multiple bandwidth parts (BWPs) and/or multiple component carriers (CCs). The method includes applying the beam indication set to a BWP or CC based on the indication. The beam indication set may be for uplink or downlink communications. The beam indication set may be a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state set or spatial relation set. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. For instance, a wireless device (e.g., abase station, a user equipment (UE)) may transmit a wake-up message including an indicator of whether an on duration of a discontinuous reception cycle is associated with harvesting energy from a signal transmitted during the on duration. The wireless device may transmit the signal during the on duration based on the wake-up message. In some examples, the UE may determine, from the indicator, whether to harvest energy, decode data or both during the on duration. If both harvesting energy and decoding data, the UE may harvest the energy and decode the data concurrently for at least a portion of the on duration. Additionally, or alternatively, the UE may harvest the energy during a first portion of the on duration and may decode data during a second portion of the on duration.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive downlink control information (DCI) that includes an indication of a null resource element pattern. Abstract: In an aspect, a network component (e.g., BS, LMF, etc.) determines a capability of the UE perform receive frequency hopping to measure a downlink positioning reference signal (DL-PRS) across a plurality of frequency hops, the DL-PRS transmitted over a plurality of orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) symbols on a same transmission bandwidth (e.g., without frequency hopping), and each of the plurality of frequency hops associated with a sub-band of the transmission bandwidth of the DL-PRS, and configures one or more parameters associated with positioning of the UE based at least in part on the capability. In some designs, the UE may send an indication of the capability to the network component to facilitate the determination, while in other designs the network component may determine the capability via another mechanism.
