Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify that an uplink transmission to a base station is to occur in accordance with an uplink timing advance value representing an amount of time that the uplink transmission takes from transmission at the UE to reception at the base station. The UE may perform an autonomous open-loop adjustment to the uplink timing advance value. The UE may transmit the uplink transmission to the base station in accordance with the adjusted uplink timing advance value. The base station may transmit an indication of a set of uplink timing advance values for a UE to use for uplink transmissions, each of the set of uplink timing advance values representing an amount of time that an uplink transmission is expected to take from transmission at the UE to reception at the base station.

Abstract: Aspects relate to signal measurements. A first apparatus (e.g., a distributed unit) may measure a signal associated with a user equipment that does not have a connection with the first apparatus. The first apparatus may output measurement information based on the signal measurement to a second apparatus (e.g., a central unit). In response, the second apparatus may output a message based on the measurement information. Abstract: A first network node may identify at least one of a usage probability or an interference probability of each Rx beam of the first network node in a plurality of Tx-Rx beam pairs associated with the first network node and the second network node. The usage probability may include a usage metric that indicates a likelihood of using a beam. The interference probability may include an interference metric that indicates a likelihood of a Tx beam of the second network node interfering with an Rx beam of the first network node. The first network node may transmit a first indication of the usage probability or the interference probability of each Rx beam in the plurality of Tx-Rx beam pairs. The second network node may receive the first indication and adjust a beam schedule for at least one of the plurality of Tx-Rx beam pairs based on the received first indication.
