    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a dual connectivity configuration for a plurality of communication links, where at least one communication link of the plurality of communication links includes a sidelink. The UE may transmit a report based on an event associated with the sidelink. In some cases, the UE may determine the event associated with the sidelink based on identifying an activation of the at least one additional sidelink carrier, establishing a relay communication link between the UE and a relay network node, measuring a set of path loss values, determining a minimum path loss value of the measured set of path loss values, determining a backoff value for one or more sidelink carriers, or any combination thereof.

Aspects provide a method for wireless communications by a UE. The method includes determining one or more transmission resources for one or more service requests (SRs) for a first type of service and/or a second type of service. The method includes determining one or more priority levels associated with the one or more transmission resources.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station in a wireless communications system may perform a connection procedure (e.g. radio resource control (RRC) procedure) with a user equipment (UE), during which the base station may configure the UE with logical channel prioritization (LCP) configuration for each logical channel of a set of logical channels. The LCP configuration may indicate allowable modulation coding schemes (MCSs) for each logical channel of the set of logical channels. Following the communication procedure, the UE may receive an uplink grant for transmitting data using a corresponding logical channel of the set of logical channels. The UE may identify an MCS used by the uplink grant and may transmit the data using the corresponding logical channel with the identified MCS, based on the identified MCS of the uplink grant matching an MCS of the logical channel.

    Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided for wireless communication that enables a UE to generate a PRACH message based on an SSB/CSI-RS for a first cell or first band and to transmit the PRACH message via another cell or another band. Aspects enable a base station to select an SSB index for transmitting downlink communication to the UE on the first cell/first band. A UE receives an SSB/CSI-RS from a base station through a first cell and transmits a random access message for the SSB/CSI-RS to the base station through a second cell. In another aspect the UE receives the SSB/CSI-RS from a base station through a first frequency range and transmits a random access message based on the SSB/CSI-RS to the base station through a second frequency range.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, the described techniques at a user equipment (UE) provide for efficiently identifying a dormancy state of a secondary cell (SCell) configured for communications with a base station. A UE may be configured with a duration of time for which an SCell is to be in an indicated dormancy state. Accordingly, when the UE receives an indication of a dormancy state for an SCell, the UE may determine that the SCell is in the indicated dormancy state for the duration of time. The UE may also be configured with a default dormancy state of the SCell. Thus, after the duration of time expires, the UE may determine that the SCell is in the default dormancy state (e.g., the UE may fall back to the default dormancy of the SCell after the duration of time expires).

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to mechanisms for dynamic prioritization of uplink (UL) traffic at a user equipment (UE). In some examples, the UE may determine to delay transmission of UL traffic by skipping one or more UL transmission opportunities based on one or more factors, such as a power saving indication, a priority level of the UL traffic, a type of the UL traffic, a volume of the UL traffic, and/or current channel conditions. In some examples, the UE may be configured with a parameter controlling the ability of the UE to delay a transmission of UL traffic. In some examples, when the UE is operating in a semi-persistent scheduling mode and a power saving mode, such as a connected mode discontinuous reception (C-DRX) mode, the UE may dynamically interrupt an OFF duration of the C-DRX cycle to transmit UL traffic.
