Abstract: This application relates to a pressure sensor. In one aspect, the sensor includes a base material and a through-hole formed to pass through the upper surface and the lower surface of the base material. The sensor may also include a conductive thread sensor including conductive thread that passes through the through-hole. According to some embodiments, the pressure sensor is implemented through a structural combination of the conductive thread and the base material so that the degree of design freedom can be effectively increased in the application of a variety of recent wearable flexible materials.

Abstract: A power transmitting unit (PTU) for wireless power transmission (WPT) includes a communication transceiver and a power controller. The communication transceiver connects a communication link with at least one power receiving unit (PRU) through legacy communication and exchanges parameters necessary for the WPT through the connected communication link. The power controller is configured to transmit, to the PRU, a PTU beacon containing information about a dedicated power slot (DPS) allocated to the PRU in a super frame including a plurality of DPSs, to receive a PRU beacon from the PRU, to extract a phase difference between a plurality of antennas by analyzing a continuous wave (CW) of the PRU beacon, and to transmit power to the PRU in the allocated DPS in consideration of the phase difference.

Abstract: This application relates to an absolute position detection device and detection method of a rotating body using a magnetic material. The device may include magnets coupled to a rotating body and configured to rotate together and having n pole pairs, wherein n is a natural number and (n+1) magnetic materials arranged adjacent to the magnets, spaced apart from each other by a predetermined interval, and configured to rotate together with the rotating body. The device may also include a first Hall sensor spaced apart from the magnets, installed to allow the magnetic materials to rotate in a space between the first Hall sensor and the magnets and configured to output a first signal based on the magnets when the magnetic materials approach the first Hall sensor. The device may further include a controller configured to measure an absolute position of the rotating body using the first signal.

Abstract: This application relates to a method and apparatus for processing a new read-write-operation instruction added to an instruction set to maximize the performance of processing-in-memory (PIM). The read-write-operation instruction performs reading and writing on an operation result of the PIM by returning the operation result of the PIM to a computer system and, at the same time, writing the operation result to a destination address. An instruction processor in PIM includes a response data selector and a finite state machine to process the read-write-operation instruction. The response data selector includes a selector configured to select one of a response data signal and an operation result, and a three-phase buffer configured to allow or disallow response data. The finite state machine of the instruction processor outputs a response permission signal and a response selection signal for controlling the buffer and the selector.
