Abstract: A method for calibrating an isolator product includes generating a differential pair of signals on a differential pair of nodes at an input of a demodulator circuit of a receiver signal path of a first integrated circuit die of the isolator product based on a received differential pair of signals. The method includes generating a diagnostic output signal having a level corresponding to an average amplitude of the differential pair of signals. The method includes driving the diagnostic output signal to an output terminal of the isolator product. The method may include transmitting a diagnostic signal using a carrier signal having a frequency by a second integrated circuit die via an isolation channel. The method may include, during the transmitting, sweeping the frequency of the carrier signal across a frequency band. The method may include, during the sweeping, capturing the diagnostic output signal via the output terminal.

Abstract: A circuit board is provided. The circuit board includes a first pin row, a second pin row and a plurality of signal vias. The first pin row includes a first side and a second side, wherein the first side of the first pin row and the second side of the first pin row are opposite to each other. The second pin row includes a first side and a second side, wherein the first side of the second pin row and the second side of the second pin row are opposite to each other. Abstract: Disclosed herein are various communications systems allowing for multiple contacts points between plug contacts in a communications plug and plug interface contacts (PICs) in a communications jack. In some disclosed implementations, a communications plug including a first and a second plug contact mated with a communications jack having a first and a second plug PIC may form a plurality of plug/jack interfaces. The plug/jack interfaces may form multiple current paths between the communications plug and the communications jack. When a signal propagates between the communications plug and the communications jack, it may be split in the communications plug between a first current path and a second current path, and recombined in the communications jack after traveling through the plurality of plug/jack interfaces.

Abstract: A stacked I/O connector with surface mountable tails and a printed circuit board (PCB) configured to receive the connector. The connector may avoid terminal deformations or scratches when the connector is mounted to the PCB. The PCB may include solder pads on a single surface or both surfaces. The sold pads may be configured for the tails of the connector to be attached with a surface mount soldering technique. As a result, the connector has high density and high speed, requires, requires a smaller mounting area on a PCB, relaxes the limitations in routing PCB traces, and reduces the electrical performance deterioration caused by PCB trace routing limitations. The connector may have row-oriented terminal subassemblies, holes in the connector housing and other features to facilitate reliable manufacture and operation of the connector.

Abstract: A PSAS female connector includes a body member, a terminal assembly, and a conductive member. The body member has a conductive groove and a tooth recess. The conductive groove is on a lateral side of the body member. The tooth recess is at an inner side of an edge of the conductive groove. The conductive member has a protrusion tooth and a protrusion strip, and is engaged in the conductive groove. The protrusion tooth is at an outer side of an edge of the conductive member. When the conductive member is engaged in the conductive groove, the protrusion tooth is geared to be engaged with the tooth recess. When the terminal assembly is engaged in the terminal groove, the protrusion strip and the terminal assembly are engaged with each other, thus improving the combination between the conductive member and the conductive groove.

Abstract: An electrical connector which includes a housing having a first side wall, a second side wall and end walls. A mating connector receiving cavity is provided between the first side wall and the second side wall. Terminals are positioned in the mating connector receiving cavity. A shield receiving area is provided on the first side wall and has shield receiving slots which extend through the first side and open into the mating connector receiving cavity. An outer shield member is positioned in the shield receiving area. The outer shield has end sections which extend essentially perpendicular to a planar section. The end sections extend into the mating connector receiving cavity through the shield receiving slots. Inner shield members are positioned in the mating connector receiving cavity. The inner shield members extend between the terminals to facilitate signal integrity.
