摘要: An optical sight for a firearm can be provided with multiple light sources for illuminating one or more aiming marks on the sight. The light sources may be multiple LEDs, e.g. of different colors that can provide illumination in different lighting conditions. The lights sources may also be physical process driven light sources, such as a Gaseous Tritium Light Source (GTLS). A combination of LEDs and GTLS may also be used. The light sources may be disposed at multiple focal points of a multi-lens system. Alternatively, a selector may be used to selectively locate one of the light sources at the focal point of a single lens system. The optical sight may be a reflex sight, e.g. for a handgun, or may be a riflescope for a rifle.

摘要: In various embodiments, an apparatus may include a frame to protect a front-most light transmissive surface of an optic sight or framing thereof, wherein a part of a back of the frame is spaced apart from the front-most light transmissive surface of the optic sight or the framing thereof; wherein the frame is integrally formed on a front of the optic sight or configured to fixably or releasably coupled to the front of the optic sight, or wherein the frame is configured to fixably or releasably attach to an optic mounting plate or other optic mounting adapter on which the optic sight is mountable, and wherein in the case the frame is configured to fixably or releasably attach to the optic mounting plate or other optic mounting adapter, the frame includes an attachment interface to interference fit, via press-fit or mechanical deformation, to the optic mounting plate or other optic mounting adapter. 摘要: Disclosed herein are alignment features for scopes, such as alignment rings for telescopic sights. For example, a scope can includes a proximal end having an interior surface. The proximal end is that which a user aligns his or her eye in order to visualize a target. The scope may also include an alignment ring on the interior surface of the proximal end. The alignment ring assists a user in determining whether his or her eye is properly aligned with a longitudinal axis of the scope. With correct eye alignment, the alignment ring is not visible. With incorrect eye alignment, at least a portion of the alignment ring is visible, thus ensuring accurate sighting.

摘要: The adjustable offset mount (AOM) attaches to a firearm. The AOM is a mount for a firearm accessory, like a red dot sight. The AOM can hold the accessory: at an offset angle; an offset distance from the vertical plane of the center of the firearm barrel; and a distance from the horizontal plane of the center of the firearm barrel. The accessory can be adjusted from a first position to a second position where the first position and the second position have the same offset angle but the distance from the barrel is different. An embodiment of the AOM has: a base structure, which attaches to the firearm; an extension arm structure, where the accessory attaches; and a cinch pivot structure, which can be loosened and retightened to change the position of the extension arm structure.

摘要: The present invention relates to a crossbow scope with a built-in laser rangefinder. The crossbow scope is designed to be integrated to crossbows during crossbows' manufacturing or retrofitted to existing crossbows. The scope is activated using a push button coupled to the scope and positioned on the crossbow. The scope has a laser diode emitting a laser towards a target and a range sensor for determining a range or distance to the target and a tilt of the crossbow relative to the target. Users can adjust their crossbow position to accommodate the laser reticle within the sight to match the laser beam with the target. The scope improves crossbow shot accuracy while hunting, during competition, shooting practice and more.
