摘要： A personal care appliance having structure for securing interchangeable styling attachments thereto comprising an elongated attachment with hook means at one end directed away from the attachment and slot means in the appliance to receive the hook means in a sliding overlapping engagement. A tab at the other end of the attachment is generally perpendicular to the hook and has a projection spaced from the tab end and a second slot is provided in the appliance with an internal recess to engage the tab and projection respectively thus locking the attachment in place. A spring means in the second slot is formed or shaped to bias the tab into locking position whereby the attachment may be slid to release the hook means and then pivoted about the tab end so the shaped spring also biases the tab from the slot to release the attachement.

摘要： An air guide and hair brush support device is provided which has a hollow handle contiguous at one end with a hollow enclosure. The hollow enclosure has a bottom wall containing a plurality of vents. Air guide means are disposed within the enclosure for defining separate air channels to each of the vents whereby each vent is in separate air flow communication with the hollow handle. The bottom wall of the enclosure is adapted to releasably support a hair brush unit which is provided with openings which overlap the vents in the bottom wall. The hollow handle, which is provided with a plurality of spaced grooves, is connected, at its outer end, to a portable hair dryer through a flexible air conduit.
