摘要： A lever arrangement comprises a bearing pin and a supply space arranged next to the bearing opening of at least one of the levers and which contains a high-viscosity lubricant. In the operation of the lever arrangement with alternating tilting direction, the lubricant arrives, due to its inertia, in the respectively unstressed part of the bearing gap between the levers. The arrangement is suited particularly for highly stressed parts in the mechanism of circuit breakers which must be designed for space saving due to the small space available. The service life of such lever arrangements is increased substantially by arranging the lubricant in the supply space. The supply space can be part of a sleeve braced on the bearing pin.

摘要： A reed switch includes a housing in which extends a stepped bore for slidably receiving a magnet carrying sleeve. The sleeve includes a longitudinal bore which receives a glass tube. The sleeve is slidable with respect to the glass tube. The glass tube encloses a switch element. The longitudinal bore is connected to the environment via pressure-equalizing bores in order to avoid the build-up of a high pressure or a vacuum inside the read switch. Collecting pockets for dirt particles are provided between the sleeve and the housing. The stepped bore opens at one end of the housing. The open end of the housing has an inner chamfer which forms an edge from which fluid easily falls away.

摘要： A toggle switch which has an operating lever extending through and pivoted in a threaded mounting barrel. In a longitudinal bore of the lever there is a compression spring and a plunger the latter being acted on by the spring and engaging a movable switch contact. The pivotal mounting of the lever comprises two ball bearings disposed at opposite sides of the lever and carried respectively in pairs of registered sockets and the lever and barrel, said sockets being external to the longitudinal bore of the lever whereby space is readily available in the bore for the plunger and spring.

摘要： An electric switch having a dry electrically insulating film bonded permanently to one of two proximate facing surfaces of a pair of relatively movable ceramic members, such as facing generally cylindrical surfaces of rotor and stator members. The film reduces friction while acting as an electrical insulator and serves a very important function in preventing interengagement of the surfaces to thereby prevent the formation of ceramic dust particles which might otherwise engage between electrical contacts carried by the ceramic members. The film preferably is heat bonded to the surface and may comprise a tetrafluoroethylene (teflon) combined with either a bonding resin material or a water base with modifiers, or a molybdenum, tungsten or other metal sulfide combined with a sodium silicate or with isopropanol. Further important features relate to methods by which dry film lubricants of superior qualities are obtained, firmly bonded to the surface.
