    Abstract: A female latch member comprising a main body having an aperture with a central axis and an inside surface. The female latch member further includes a first upper portion and second, third and fourth lower portions extending radially from said inside surface that cooperate to form first, second and third channels, each of said first, second and third channels having in order a first vertical upper limit, a second vertical lower limit, and a third vertical upper limit, said first, second and third channels configured to receive three related pins of a male hook member and cause said female latch member to rotate relative to said male hook member. The female latch member further includes a floating bearing assembly attached to the main body, the floating bearing configured to allow for rotation and at least one of parallel, angular or axial movement of the main body.

    Abstract: A floating fastener mounting structure includes a mounting socket having a locating groove extending around the periphery and defined between a relatively smaller annular step and a relatively larger stop flange thereof, a metal panel member having a mounting through hole attached to the mounting socket and stopped above the stop flange and stamped by a stamping press to provide a riveting portion and to force the riveting portion to engage into the locating groove and to wrap about the stop flange of the mounting socket, a spring-loaded locking member axially slidably mounted in the mounting socket for detachably locking the metal panel member to an external metal panel member, and a cap member capped on a mounting head of the locking member and affixed to the mounting head during the operation of the stamping press to stamp the metal panel member. Affixing the mounting socket to the metal panel member by riveting greatly enhances the shearing strength of the floating fastener mounting structure.

    Abstract: A fastening member for fastening and unfastening at least two panel members includes first and second elastic arms. One panel member has a first surface. The other panel member has a second surface facing away from the first surface. Each panel member has a fixed through hole having at least a portion with a width (P1). Each elastic arm has first and second end edges respectively proximate to and relatively distal from the first surface. The first end edge has a width larger than the width (P1). A limiting arm extends from the first end edge of the first elastic arm, and includes a limiting portion that can extend through the fixed through holes of the panel members or move away from the second elastic arm when the elastic arms are pressed or released, respectively.

    Abstract: A mounting system for removably mounting a portable electronic device to an object comprises a base, a mount, and a locking component. The base includes a central aperture and connects to an object on which the portable electronic device will be mounted. The mount includes a coupler and a device connector for connecting to the portable electronic device. The coupler includes a shaft that may be at least partially received within the central aperture of the base. The locking component is integrated with the base and is shiftable between a locked mode in which it retains the coupler in the base and an unlocked mode in which it allows the coupler to be released from the base. The locking component includes a ring with a detent, a catch that engages the detent, and a lever which can shift the locking component between the locked mode and the unlocked mode.
