Abstract: The present invention provides a smart, electronic desk to facilitate and improve interactive learning. The desk comprises a student desk having a table, a computer such as a tablet having a touch-screen interface, and a document camera all integrated together. The document camera, also known as a visual presenter, captures images and/or video of documents or other objects placed on the table. Abstract: A device that allows an individual, and more particularly, a student, to hold a beverage container or other similar device in a classroom desk or table. The instant invention comprises a cylinder shape that is open on one end and closed on the other. It is approximately 5 inches in height and 4 inches in diameter with a ½ inch to 1 inch lip completely around the top of the holder. The cylinder is so designed that it fits directly into an opening on top of the desk or table. When placed into the opening in the desk or table, it is secured by the lip engaging the top of the desk or table. It is removable by pulling up on the lip. In an alternate mode, an attachment is provided wherein the bottle holder can be placed in the event there is no pre-existing hole in the top of the desk or table. The attachment can be affixed either mechanically or chemically onto the top of the desk or table at any location on the desk or table top. The bottle holder is simply inserted into the attachment and removed whenever an individual desires.

Abstract: A refuse compacting apparatus having a hollow closure which carries a handle along its upper edge is provided with literature storage means within the closure. The handle is provided with downwardly opening slot through which the literature is inserted to be held in a pocket formed within the closure at a suitable position below the slot. The spacing of the bottom of the pocket below the slot is preselected to permit the upper portion of the literature to project outwardly from the slot for facilitated viewability and accessibility. The pocket structure further serves to resiliently bias the closure panels so as to reduce rattling or vibration. The pocket-forming structure cooperates with a boss on the rear panel of the closure in guiding the literature into the desired inserted disposition within the pocket. The handle further defines a protective cover overlying the slot providing spill protection for the literature stored in the pocket.

Abstract: A toy desk has a body with several storage compartments and a magnetic chalkboard on its upper surface. Plastic letters and numbers with closed frontal faces and sides have open backs holding magnets so that the letters and numbers can be magnetically secured to the chalkboard.
