    摘要： An easily breakable sticking material comprises a surface layer, an easily breakable layer laminated on one main surface of the above-mentioned surface layer, a first peel-off layer facilitating peeling of the above-mentioned surface layer off the easily breakable layer, a second peel-off layer formed on a part of the main surface of the above-mentioned easily breakable layer, a covering layer formed on the second peel-off layer side main surface of the above-mentioned easily breakable layer, and an adhesive layer formed on the main surface of the above-mentioned covering layer.When the surface layer is peeled off, only the easily breakable layer where the second layer is formed is peeled off the covering layer. Accordingly, the easily breakable layer is peeled off and separated from the other parts and cannot adhere again as in the original state.

    摘要： An anode for the cathodic protection of a metallic structure subject to corrosion includes a strip or band of aluminum, zinc, magnesium or alloys thereof. The strip or band is anodic to the metallic structure and has a surface which is adapted to face the metallic structure. This surface of the strip or band is provided with a layer of electrically conductive adhesive so as to permit the strip or band to be adhesively secured to the metallic structure and to be in electrical communication therewith. In this manner, metallic structures of any arbitrary configuration may be cathodically protected under all corrosive conditions.

    摘要： The utilization of double knit fabrics is extended to fields other than their conventional employment in wearing apparel. This is accomplished by dimensionally stabilizing the otherwise easily distortable double knit material by applying to one surface thereof a controlled layer of a latex of a polymeric coating composition comprising a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl chloride in an aqueous vehicle. The thus coated material is properly cured and dried.

    摘要： The tape splicing device includes a plurality of elongated tab members extending from a flexible marginal portion and an adhesive splicing strip adjoining each tab with the marginal portion. The tab members and the marginal portion are wound about themselves in roll form such that the marginal portion is in substantial surface contact with itself, and an underlying tab member is capable of at least some surface contact with an immediate overlaying tab member.The tape splicing device is made from a laminate of adhesive tape and flexible sheet that is scored, severed, rolled and trimmed to form individual independently removable elongated tab members and adhesive splicing strips.A dispenser for the tape splicing device includes a frame that holds a roll of the tape splicing device and permits its unwinding along a bearing surface. A resilient clip on the dispenser clamps the unwound portion against the bearing surface to permit detachment of individual tabs and splicing strips.
