摘要: A paramagnetic stainless steel with a chemical composition may include iron and, by weight: 20≤Cr≤40%; 3≤Ni≤20%; 0≤Mn≤15%; 0≤Al≤5%; 3≤Mo≤15%; 0≤W≤5%; 0≤Cu≤2%; 0≤Si≤5%; 0≤Ti≤1%; 0≤Nb≤1%; 0≤C≤0.1%; 0≤N≤0.5%; 0≤S≤0.5%; 0≤P≤0.1%, and optionally impurities, each at a concentration of less than or equal to 0.5%. The steel may have a hardness in a range of from 575 to 900 HV10. A part, in particular a timepiece component, may be made from or include this steel.

摘要: A method of producing a ferritic stainless steel sheet comprises subjecting an Al vapor deposited layer-equipped stainless steel sheet to a heat treatment at 600° C. to 1300° C. for 1 minute or more. The Al vapor deposited layer-equipped stainless steel sheet comprises a ferritic stainless steel and an Al vapor deposited layer thereon. The ferritic stainless steel sheet has a thickness of 100 μm or less and a chemical composition containing, in mass %, C: ≤0.030%, Si: ≤1.0%, Mn: ≤1.0%, P: ≤0.040%, S: ≤0.010%, Cr: 11.0-30.0%, Al: 4.0-6.5%, Ni: 0.05-0.50%, Mo: 0.01-6.0%, N: ≤0.020% s, and Zr: 0.01-0.20% and/or Hf: 0.01-0.20%, with a balance consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities. A thickness of the Al vapor deposited layer per one side is 0.5-10.0 μm.

摘要: A steel for mining chain and a manufacturing method thereof, wherein the steel has compositions by weight percentage: C: 0.20-0.28%, Si: 0.01-0.40%, Mn: 0.50-1.50%, P≤0.015%, S≤0.005%, Cr: 0.30-2.00%, Ni: 0.50-2.00%, Mo: 0.10-0.80%, Cu: 0.01-0.30%, Al: 0.01-0.05%, Nb: 0.001-0.10%, V: 0.001-0.10%, H≤0.00018%, N≤0.0150%, O≤0.0020%, and the balance is Fe and inevitable impurities. The manufacturing method comprises steps of smelting, refining and vacuum treatment, casting, heating, forging or rolling, and quenching and tempering heat treatment processes. The steel in the present invention has high strength and good impact toughness, good elongation and reduction of area. The steel can also resist stress corrosion cracking and have good weather resistance, wear resistance and fatigue resistance, which can be used in scenarios where the steel having high strength and toughness is required, such as construction machinery and marine engineering.

摘要: An essentially lead free steel having improved machinability while reducing or eliminating lead (except for trace impurities) and without detriment of the material properties of the steel. The properties of the lead free steel are dependent on both the composition and method of manufacture. The improved lead free steel has, in percent by weight (wt-%): Carbon: 0.39-0.43%; Manganese: 0.75-1.00%; Silicon: 0.15-0.35%; Chromium: 0.80-1.05%; Molybdenum: 0.15-0.25%; at least one of Tellurium: 0.003-0.090 wt-%, Selenium: 0.080-0.2 wt-%, Sulfur: 0.065-0.09% wt-%, and Bismuth: 0.03-0.1 wt-%; and the balance being Fe and normally occurring scrap steel impurities. The hot-rolled lead-free steel product is subjected to a heat treatment at a first temperature for a first duration, at a second temperature for a second duration that is less than the first temperature, at a third temperature for a third time period that is greater than the second temperature, and subsequently cooling the steel product.

The steel alloy has a composition by weight %, about: 30.0% max nickel (Ni), 0.0 to 15.0% cobalt (Co), 25.0% max chromium (Cr), 5.0% max molybdenum (Mo), 5.0% max titanium (Ti), 5.0% max vanadium (V), about 0.5% max lanthanum (La) and/or cerium (Ce), and in balance iron (Fe) and inevitable impurities. The steel alloy provides a unique combination of corrosion resistance, strength and toughness and is a material for aircraft landing gears and structures.

On the basis of a distribution in the width direction of the steel sheet, a ratio of a deviation of the grain size of the ferrite and/or the bainitic ferrite to the average grain size of the ferrite and/or the bainitic ferrite is 10% or less. On the basis of a distribution in the width direction of the steel sheet, a ratio of a deviation of the area fraction of as-quenched martensite to the area fraction of the as-quenched martensite is 10% or less. On the basis of a distribution in the width direction of the steel sheet, a ratio of a deviation of the area fraction of retained austenite to the area fraction of the retained austenite is 10% or less.

摘要: Provided is an abrasion-resistant steel plate excellent in both abrasion resistance and wide bending workability. An abrasion-resistant steel plate comprises a specific chemical composition, wherein a volume fraction of martensite at a depth of 1 mm from a surface of the abrasion-resistant steel plate is 90% or more, a number density of TiC precipitates of 0.5 μm or more in equivalent circular diameter at a depth of 1 mm from the surface is 400/mm2 or more, hardness at a depth of 1 mm from the surface is 360 HBW 10/3000 or more in Brinell hardness, and a transverse direction hardness difference is 30Hv10 or less in Vickers hardness, the transverse direction hardness difference being defined as a difference in the hardness at a depth of 1 mm from the surface between two points adjacent at intervals of 10 mm in a transverse direction of the abrasion-resistant steel plate.

摘要: Provided are: a SOUR-resistant heavy-wall steel plate having excellent low-temperature toughness and post-heat treatment characteristics; and a method for manufacturing the same. The SOUR-resistant heavy-wall steel plate of the present invention comprises: in terms of weight %, 0.02-0.06% of C; 0.5% or less of Si (excluding 0%); 0.8-2.0% of Mn; 0.03% or less of P; 0.003% or less of S; 0.06% or less of Al; 0.01% or less of N; 0.005-0.1% of Nb; 0.005-0.05% of Ti; 0.0005-0.005% of Ca; one or more selected from 0.05-0.5% of Ni, 0.05-0.5% of Cr, 0.02-0.4% of Mo, and 0.005-0.1% of V; and the remainder Fe and unavoidable impurities, wherein the heavy-wall steel plate satisfies relational expressions 1-3, and has a percent ductile fracture of 85% or more in the drop weight tear test (DWTT) at −20° C.
