The clasp includes a tubular member secured to and completely surrounded by the medallion and a safety pin movable between an upright position and a stowed position. The safety pin includes a secured leg and a movable leg, the secured leg being received through the tubular member. The movable leg is movable between an open position and a secured position. Both the safety pin and the tubular member are completely surrounded by the medallion. The safety pin lies flat against the medallion when in the stowed position.

摘要： Award-designation apparatus is disclosed, which includes a first surface, which is, preferably, permanently affixed to a golf club bag. This first surface is to be manufactured so that a tack or a clip, etc., may be inserted into the surface, and readily removed therefrom if necessary. The preferred material for constructing such first surface of the present invention would be plastic or a plastic-like material. This first surface should preferably be manufactured so that it includes a relatively slight curvature. In this fashion, said first surface may be more readily affixed to an outer surface of a golf club bag, or other intended curved surface. In any event, said first surface, while able to be made from a relatively rigid material, should have at least some minimal degree of flexibility. The present invention further includes a second surface which is capable of acting as the award-designation means.

摘要： The wearing ornament of the invention is designed to be attached to a cap, a suit and the like wearing apparel. It consists of a flat laminated fabric having a central embossed area. The cover layer of the fabric is printed with an image having a central portion of a contour and size corresponding to the embossed area. This cover layer is made of a woven fabric which is stretchable in two perpendicular directions. A second layer consists of compressible foamed synthetic resin, die-cut to the contour of the central portion of the image; a third layer consists of a heat-seal thermoplastic film, while a fourth layer consists of a stiff backing, preferably of felt-like fibrous material; all of the layers are pressed together in a heat-sealing press, the female die of which has a central cavity shaped to receive the central portion of the cover layer and the second layer.

The pin comprises a resilient wire member bent substantially in a rectangle in a manner that the opposite ends of the wire member are located at one corner thereof. The pin has a hook portion at one end and a sharp point at the other end, which is engageably fitted into the hook. A prong having a sharp point of the wire member and a stem opposing thereto are spaced apart from each other by a distance larger than a thickness of a thumb or forefinger, so that engagement and disengagement of the prong having a sharp point with and from the hook is facilitated, thereby providing ease of attachment or removal of the badge to or from the garment.

The core of each of the panels may be enclosed in a respective laminated plastic film jacket. The outer face of the outer panel has indicia display means. The core of each panel may comprise a laminate of the magnetic material and a rigid ferromagnetic core plate.
