摘要: A method for harvesting bast plants that have stalks, husks, and seeds. The method includes cutting the bast stalks from the bast plants and promptly receiving the bast stalks onto a first belt without retting the bast stalks. The method then orients at least a portion of the bast stalks on the first belt, the longitudinal axis of the at least a portion of the bast stalks being generally oriented in the direction the first belt is moving. The husks and seeds may be removed from the bast stalks. The bast stalk may be packaged.

摘要: A conveyor system that may be used with an agricultural harvester, such as a round baler, waste baler, combine, sugarcane harvester or cotton harvester. More particularly, the conveyor system utilizes at least a first and a second conveyor belt of which at least one of the conveyor belts is independently movable in the forward and backward directions. The speed and direction of the conveyor belts can be controlled to perform continuous baling of harvested crop in the agricultural baler.

摘要: The present invention relates to a conveyor system that may be used with an agricultural harvester, such as a round baler, waste baler, combine, sugarcane harvester or cotton harvester. More particularly, the conveyor system utilizes at least a first and a second conveyor belt of which at least one of the conveyor belts is independently movable in the forward and backward directions. The speed and direction of the conveyor belts can be controlled to optimize continuous baling of harvested crop in the agricultural baler.

摘要: A conditioning device for an agricultural harvesting machine includes a first and a second roller that each are supported with respect to a housing to enable the rollers to rotate about respective longitudinal axes in order to delimit a gap through which crop passes. The housing is formed with a first and a second housing section such that the second housing section moves relative to the first housing section from a closed position in which the housing seals the rollers with respect to the surroundings into a closed position in which the rollers are accessible from outside the housing. The rollers are each supported with respect to the first housing section by way of a shaft extending between the first and the second housing sections.

摘要: A method for harvesting bast plants that have stalks, husks, and seeds. The method includes cutting the bast stalks from the bast plants and receiving the bast stalks onto a first belt. The method then orients at least a portion of the bast stalks on the first belt by moving a bar back and forth across the first belt in a direction generally perpendicular to the direction the first belt is moving, the bar elevated above the first belt and having spaced tines extending toward the first belt, the longitudinal axis of the at least a portion of the bast stalks being generally oriented in the direction the first belt is moving. The husks and seeds may be removed from the bast stalks. The bast stalks may be packaged.

摘要: In an example embodiment, a harvesting header includes a helper roll having an auger flighting configured to move crop material laterally inward. The auger flighting may be outboard of a crop receiving area. The helper roll may be placed rearward of a cutter mechanism and forward of a conditioning roll of the header. The axis of rotation of the helper roll may be positioned slightly above a cutting plane of a cutting bed so that the auger flighting extends vertically past the cutting plane. In an example embodiment, at least a portion of the auger flights are positioning outboard of a conditioning roll of the header. The helper roll may be supported within the cutting zone and comprised of a plurality of sub-helper rolls.

摘要: Apparatus for conditioning plant material in the production of hay. The apparatus comprises a conditioning part (12) through which plant material can be passed to be subjected to compression for fracturing the stalks thereof. The conditioning path (12) has an intake end (21) and a discharge end (23). The conditioning path (12) is defined between two compression surfaces (26, 28), one of which is defined by an endless beam (25) moveable through a cyclic path about rollers (31, 32). The rollers (31, 32) are mounted on a common support (33). The compression surfaces (26, 28) are arranged for movement with respect to each other for varying the size of the intake end (21) relative to the discharge end (23). Typically, the common support (33) for the rollers (31, 32) comprises a beam (33) which is angularly moveable, and wherein control means (43) are provided for controlling angular movement of the beam (33).
