Abstract: An optical reading head of a scanning apparatus includes a casing, a lens, a base and a sliding frame. The base is used to support an image sensing module and movable on the casing. The sliding frame is coupled with the base for fixing and driving the lens to move along a gliding track on the casing. During the focusing operation, the lens' position is adjustable by moving the sliding frame and the optical signals are clearly imaged onto the image sensor of the imaging sensing module. During the magnification correcting operation, positions of the lens and the imaging sensing module are adjustable by moving the base and the tolerance of magnification for the optical reading head would be equal to or less than an acceptable preset value.

Abstract: By combining a sensing module having a lens and an image sensor with a carriage module having a mirror set, a reading device of a scanning apparatus is assembled. The sensing module further includes two channels at bilateral sides of the lens and two guiding slots disposed on external sides of the channels. The carriage module further includes two linear tracks corresponding to the channels and two bolt hole pedestals corresponding to the guiding slots. The sensing module is glided on the carriage module when the linear tracks are embedded in corresponding channels, thereby correcting the desired magnification.

Abstract: A capacity management system and method. The system includes a demand management module and a planning engine. The demand management module receives a demand comprising a request for a quantity of a device and a corresponding required date. The planning engine converts original planning buckets with varying bucket lengths into target planning buckets that have substantially identical bucket lengths. The planning engine further retrieves a cycle time of the device, and selects one of the target planning buckets accordingly. The planning engine also plans a capacity in the selected target planning bucket according to the quantity of the device.

Abstract: A crown-shaped fixture set for a tubular fixture device is described in the present invention, which comprises a pair of crown-shaped fixtures. The crown-shaped fixture is a disc with a crown portion. The center of the disc has an aperture. The crown portion of the fixture is shaped like a conoid. The bottom of the crown portion forms a plurality of positioning slots. Pluralities of tangential grooves corresponding to positioning slots are formed on the crown portion. Thus, the crown portion is capable of positioning and fixing paper tubes of various bore sizes, so that the paper tube can be reused and the contact area between the paper tube and the crown portion can be increased and stabilizes the rotation movement of the paper tube.

Abstract: A draining device is disposed within a drain port, which is defined by an upper end of a drain pipe embedded in the ground at an elevation below the ground surface. The draining device includes a tubular base member which has an open upper end, a closed lower end, a bottom wall, and a peripheral wall that extends between the upper and lower ends and that is formed with a plurality of drain openings. A water guiding tube is attached within the base member, and extends into the peripheral wall of the base member. The drain openings of the base member are located around the water guiding tube at an elevation above a lower end of the water guiding tube. The water guiding tube has open upper and lower ends, and is capable of guiding water from the upper end of the base member to the bottom wall of the base member. When water accumulates in a lower end portion of the base member, the water surface thereof is above the lower end of the water guiding tube so as to isolate air in the water guiding tube from air in the drain pipe, thereby preventing insects in the drain pipe from accessing the water guiding tube.
