    摘要: An ultrasonic probe in which a balance between basic performance and suppression of heat generation is achieved by suppressing heat generation of the ultrasonic probe without degrading sensitivity and relative bandwidth of the ultrasonic probe in transmission and reception of ultrasonic waves. The ultrasonic probe includes at least one vibrator for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves, the at least one vibrator including a piezoelectric material in which a piezoelectric strain constant d33 is equal to or less than 500 pm/V and a product of the piezoelectric strain constant d33 and a piezoelectric voltage constant g33 is equal to or more than 7000×10−15 m2/N, at least one acoustic matching layer provided on a first surface of the at least one vibrator, and a backing material provided on a second surface opposite to the first surface of the at least one vibrator.

The ultrasonic endoscope includes: an ultrasonic transducer part having plural ultrasonic transducers; an exterior member for holding the ultrasonic transducer part; an opening formed in the exterior member; a heat conducting member arranged inside of the exterior member and connected to the ultrasonic transducer part; and a heat radiating member provided on an outer surface of the exterior member and connected to the heat conducting member via the opening. For example, a part of the heat radiating member is located within the opening and the part is connected to the heat conducting member. The heat radiating member is electrically insulated from the ultrasonic transducer part.

    摘要: An exposure apparatus includes a light emitting device array in which a plurality of light emitting devices comprising light emitting sections formed onto a transparent substrate with a predetermined pattern and capable of being controlled and driven independently are arranged in a primary scanning direction to form a device row and a plurality of the device rows are arranged in a secondary scanning direction intersecting with the primary scanning direction. Further, the plurality of light emitting devices are aligned in the secondary direction with respect to a photosensitive material, and the plurality of device rows are sequentially illuminated on a time-division basis. In particular, the plurality of device rows are arranged with a pitch T expressed by T=(m−1/n)P when they are sequentially illuminated in a direction identical to the secondary scanning direction, and are arranged with a pitch T expressed by T=(m+1/n)P when they are sequentially illuminated in a direction opposite to the secondary scanning direction, where P is the pitch of an exposure pixel, m is an integer equal to or greater than 2, and n is the number of device rows arranged in the secondary scanning direction.

    摘要: A laser diode pumped solid state laser is provided with a first temperature control circuit which controls the temperature of the laser diode to a predetermined value and a second temperature control circuit which controls the temperature of the resonator of the solid state laser to a predetermined value. When the solid state laser is in a steady state, an automatic power control is carried out for keeping the light output of the solid state laser at a reference output value. When a predetermined command is issued, the automatic power control is switched to an automatic current control for keeping the electric current flowing through the laser diode at a reference current value. A temperature of the laser diode at which the light output of the solid state laser is maximized is detected while changing the temperature of the laser diode, and the first temperature control circuit controls the temperature of the laser diode to the detected temperature. A temperature of the resonator at which the light output of the solid state laser is maximized is detected while changing the temperature of the resonator, and the second temperature control circuit controls the temperature of the resonator to the detected temperature.

The wavelength-conversion laser is made up of a solid-state laser crystal doped with Neodymium which is pumped by light, a nonlinear optical crystal disposed in a resonator for converting the wavelength of a solid-state laser bee emanated from the solid-state laser crystal, and an etalon disposed in the resonator for realizing a single longitudinal mode. The nonlinear optical crystal is a crystal, which effects type-I phase-matching, such as MgO:LiNbO.sub.3 crystal. Moreover, the nonlinear optical crystal possesses periodic domain reversals.
