Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a device comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for providing contextual information with a keyboard interface. The program and method provide for receiving a media content item provided by a second device; displaying, on a screen of the device, the media content item together with a reply element, the reply element being user-selectable to generate a reply message with respect to the media content item; receiving user selection of the reply element; and in response to receiving the user selection, displaying, in a first preset area of the screen, a keyboard interface for user selection of text to include in the reply message, and displaying, in a second preset area of the screen, a context information interface which is user-selectable to provide information corresponding to at least one type of context associated with the media content item.

Abstract: Method of generating selectable items providing post-viewing context actions starts with a processor receiving a media content item with first media overlay from first client device. Processor causes an active notification associated with the media content item to be displayed on a notification user interface by a second client device. Processor receives a selection of the active notification from the second client device and in response to receiving the selection of the active notification, causes the media content item to be displayed by the second client device. The processor, in response to the media content item being displayed by the second client device, causes the second client device to display the notification user interface comprising an inactive notification and a first selectable item that is associated with the first media overlay. Other embodiments are described herein.

Abstract: A user input content item is presented in a viewing interface of an interaction application executing on a user device. The user input content item is shared with a viewing user by a sending user via an interaction system. A press and hold operation by the viewing user related to the presentation of the user input content item is detected. Responsive to the detection of the press and hold operation, the interaction application is automatically transitioned to a reply state. Within the reply state, a reply mechanism is activated to enable the viewing user to generate a reply message to the sending user.

Abstract: A third-party user input content item is presented. A content sharing function is invoked responsive to determining user selection of a content sharing graphical element. The content sharing function comprises presentation of a destination graphical element identifying a first content sharing destination. The first content sharing destination is locked. A combination graphical element is user-selectable to invoke a combination function. Abstract: A method starts with a processor receiving a content collection from a second computing device associated with a second user. A processor detects input of text data from a text interface overlaid on top of a display of the content collection and analyzes the text data to identify a first characteristic within the text data. The processor also accessing a plurality of personalized avatars associated with a respective avatar characteristic and determines a selection of personalized avatars that match the first characteristic by comparing the first characteristic against the respective avatar characteristic associated with each of the plurality of personalize avatars. The processor then generates a personalized avatar interface which includes the selection of personalized avatars containing an avatar characteristic that matches the first characteristic, overlays the selection of personalized avatars on the display of the content collection, and communicates a selected personalized avatar to the second computing device.
