    Abstract: A radiography apparatus and a method for controlling the radiography apparatus are provided. The radiography apparatus includes a radiographer configured to acquire a first radiation image of a subject before a contrast reagent is injected into the subject, and acquire a second radiation image of the subject after the contrast reagent is injected into the subject. The radiography apparatus further includes an image processor configured to calculate a difference between data of a pixel of the first radiation image and data of a pixel of the second radiation image, for each of pixels of the first radiation image, and acquire an image of the subject based the difference for each of the pixels of the first radiation image.

    Abstract: An X-ray apparatus includes an image separator configured to separate an X-ray image of an object into material images representing materials in the object; a parameter determiner configured to determine a width of a material of interest (MOI) based on the material images, and determine an enhancement parameter configured to enhance contrast of the MOI according to the width of the MOI; and an image enhancer configured to separate the X-ray image into detailed images respectively including spatial frequencies of different frequency bands, enhance each of the detailed images according to the enhancement parameter, and synthesize the enhanced detailed images to generate an enhanced image.

    Abstract: An X-ray imaging apparatus and a method for generating X-ray images are provided. The X-ray imaging apparatus includes an X-ray source configured to irradiate X-rays to a subject, and an X-ray detector configured to detect X-rays penetrating the subject, and generate a frame image including pieces of X-ray data for energy bands. The X-ray imaging apparatus further includes an image divider configured to divide the frame image into images of substances, using the pieces of the X-ray data, and an image generator configured to restore the frame image by performing motion compensation on an image of a first substance of the frame image, among the images of the substances of the frame image, and an image of the first substance of a previous frame image.
