Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, configuration information for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) associated with single frequency network (SFN) transmissions and PDCCH repetitions, wherein the configuration information indicates a first control resource set (CORESET) and a second CORESET, wherein the first CORESET is associated with a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state and the second CORESET is associated with a second TCI state. The UE may receive, from the base station and based at least in part on the reception of the configuration information, at least one of one or more SFN PDCCH messages or one or more PDCCH repetitions. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate with a base station on multiple component carriers (CCs) in a carrier aggregation (CA) configuration. The base station may transmit an indication to the UE that identifies a new power mode (e.g., a power mode adjustment) that the UE is to implement. The power mode may identify communication parameters that the UE is to adjust. The UE may determine a delay for applying the new power mode on the CCs. The delay may provide the UE time to activate or deactivate components or elements based on the new power mode. In some examples, the UE may determine the delay based on one or more selected CCs and then apply the delay across the CCs. The UE may implement the power mode on one or more (or all) of the CCs following the delay.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, such as a base station or another UE, one or more reference signals. The reference signals may be examples of sensing reference signals (SRSs) or positioning reference signals (PRSs). The UE may identify a time of arrival (TOA) parameter value associated with each of the one or more references signals, and the UE may prioritize each of the one or more reference signals based on the TOA parameter value associated with each of the one or more reference signals. In some cases, the UE may perform a channel measurement procedure, and may transmit a report including the results of the measurement, to the network node. The report may include TOA parameter values associated with each of the one or more reference signals received from the network node.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to enable one or both of a base station or a user equipment (UE) to identify one or more physical cell identifiers (PCIs) for a scheduled communication, using an association between the one or more PCIs and a control resource set (CORESET), for example, used to transmit a grant scheduling the communication. The base station may identify a mapping between one or more PCIs associated with a communication and may transmit, to the UE, a grant scheduling the communication on a CORESET associated with the one or more PCIs. The UE may identify a mapping between the CORESET and the one or more PCIs associated with the communication based on receiving the grant in the CORESET. The UE and the base station may communicate a message scheduled by the grant using parameters associated with the one or more identified PCIs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A base station may transmit, to a user equipment (UE), a control message in a first control channel occasion associated with a first quasi-colocation (QCL) property, the control message indicating a transmission of a data message within a threshold time period. The UE may receive, from the base station, an indication to skip monitoring of a second control channel occasion within the threshold time period and may receive the data message in accordance with a second QCL property, or drop reception of the data message, based on the indication. Additionally, or alternatively, the base station may transmit a message indicating a unified transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state associated with the second QCL property, and the UE may receive the data message in accordance with the second QCL property based on the unified TCI state.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a paging early indication (PEI) indicating whether at least one UE in a UE group or a UE sub-group including the UE is to be paged in a paging occasion. In some aspects, a sequence on which the PEI is based is a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH)-based sequence. In some aspects, the PEI is a sequence-based PEI and is received based at least in part on a sequence configuration configured on the UE. In some aspects, the PEI is a sequence-based PEI and is received based at least in part on a distributed resource block allocation associated with the sequence. The UE may selectively process a paging PDCCH associated with the paging occasion based at least in part on the PEI. Numerous other aspects are described.
