Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices, and systems that support context acquisition for seamless roaming. Some aspects more specifically relate to segmenting a packet number (PN) space into subsets that are dynamically assigned to access points (APs) associated with a station (STA). In some implementations, a first wireless device (such as a STA) may communicate with a second wireless device (such as a serving AP) using a first subset of user data context parameters (such as a group or segment of PNs) that correspond to a first index assigned to the second wireless device. If, for example, the first wireless device decides to roam to a third wireless device (such as a target AP), the first wireless device may transmit one or more packets to the third wireless device using a second subset of the user data context parameters assigned to the third wireless device.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for transmission opportunity (TXOP) sharing and resource allocation mechanisms in systems involving multiple peer-to-peer (P2P) sessions. Some aspects more specifically relate to how such mechanisms can facilitate multi-station (STA) TXOP sharing or STA offloading in accordance with relative resource availabilities across a set of access points (APs), or any combination thereof. In some implementations, an AP can allocate respective portions of a resource unit (RU) allocation (during a shared TXOP of the AP) to respective P2P sessions at multiple respective STAs. Additionally, or alternatively, an AP can use transmit power control to facilitate simultaneous TXOP sharing across multiple STAs. Additionally, or alternatively, first AP can offload a STA to a second AP in accordance with relative resource availabilities at the first AP and the second AP. As such, devices may achieve greater scalability for high-density P2P session deployments.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for identifying frames or packets of data that were received in error (such as incorrectly decoded or not received at all) by a receiving device for purposes of retransmission. In one aspect, a wireless device may form a number of frames for wireless transmission. Each of the frames may include a frame header and may be associated with a unique sequence number. In some implementations, for each of the frames, the wireless device may embed at least a portion of the unique sequence number into a portion of a control field or a delimiter field of the frame header. In some other implementations, for each of the frames, the wireless device may signal at least a portion of the unique sequence number using bit locations unassociated with a sequence number field of the frame header.

Abstract: Aspects are provided for BTM-based load balancing. Various aspects relate generally to a method of load balancing where an AP multi-link device (MLD) recommends that a non-AP MLD move to an indicated set of links of the AP MLD and operate on the indicated set of links without purging context between the AP MLD and the non-AP MLD. In some examples, if the non-AP MLD does not comply, then the non-AP MLD may face disassociation from the AP MLD. Some aspects more specifically relate to recommending that the non-AP MLD move to an indicated set of links of a different AP MLD and operate on the indicated set of links of the different AP MLD after performing a multi-link setup with the different AP MLD. In some examples, the AP MLD may then disassociate from the non-AP MLD.
