    Abstract: In an embodiment, a UE transmits an on-demand PRS request for PRS(s) on selected frequency-domain resource(s) (e.g., frequency layer, frequency band, CC, etc.). In another embodiment, a UE receives, from a network component (e.g., BS, core network component, LMF, location server, etc.), configuration of frequency-domain resources (e.g., frequency layer, frequency band, CC, etc.), wherein each frequency-domain resource configuration is associated with a bandwidth and SCS. The UE further receives, from the network component, configuration of PRS(s), wherein each PRS is associated with a single frequency-domain resource from the frequency-domain resources. The UE determines a single reference TRP for each of the frequency-domain resources, performs PRS measurements on the PRS(s), and determines positioning measurements at least based on the PRS measurements and the determined reference TRPs.

    Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer program products for determining a time are provided. An example method may include receiving, in a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) denied environment, a plurality of sidelink messages from a plurality of sources. The example method may further include selecting a time source from the plurality of sources based on the plurality of sidelink messages and based on at least one of: a respective distance traveled within the GNSS denied environment associated with each source of the plurality of sources or a respective time inside the GNSS denied environment of the plurality of sources. The example method may further include performing, based on a time provided by the time source, at least one of a positioning activity, a timing maintenance activity, or a communication activity.

    Abstract: In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may receive at least one discontinuous reception (DRX) configuration, wherein the at least one DRX configuration indicates at least a DRX on-time and a wake-up signal monitoring window for reception of a wake-up signal, wherein the wake-up signal is configured for use in determining whether the UE is to wake-up for sidelink positioning operations.     Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a UE to communicate with NTN base station(s) more efficiently to improve NTN positioning. In one aspect, a UE communicates with at least one TN base station via a first set of PFLs for a UE positioning session. The UE communicates with at least one NTN base station via a second set of PFLs for the UE positioning session, the second set of PFLs being different from the first set of PFLs. In another aspect, a UE measures a first RS that is transmitted from a base station via a wide beam, the wide beam having a coverage over an area. The UE measures at least one second RS that is transmitted from the base station via at least one narrow beam based on the first RS being successfully decoded, each of the at least one narrow beam covering a portion of the area.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a user equipment (UE) may obtain a configuration that defines a first number of positioning measurement transmission beams, each positioning measurement transmission beam associated with a boresight transmission angle of the UE, and a second number of positioning discovery transmission beams, each positioning discovery transmission beam associated with a boresight transmission angle of the UE. The UE may transmit the positioning discovery transmission beams, then receive, from at least one other UE, feedback related to at least one of the positioning discovery transmission beams, and, based on that feedback, determine a subset of the positioning measurement transmission beams to be used for performing positioning measurements. The UE may perform the positioning measurements using the subset of the positioning measurement transmission beams.
