Abstract: A (repeater) node may identify a first indication of a waveform switch associated with a first link between a base station and the node or a second link between the node and a UE. A waveform switch associated with the first link may be triggered by the base station or the node. A waveform switch associated with the second link may be triggered by the node or the UE. The waveform switch may correspond to a first switch from an OFDM waveform to an SC waveform or a second switch from the SC waveform to the OFDM waveform. The base station may transmit, to the node, an indication of a post-waveform switch resource mapping between a first waveform associated with the first link and a second waveform associated with the second link. The node may execute the waveform switch associated with the first link or the second link.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a base station may receive, using a first beam, a first physical random access channel (PRACH) communication during a first random access channel (RACH) occasion. The base station may receive, during the first RACH occasion, a data communication having a timing that is aligned with a timing of the PRACH communication to provide a beam switching gap before reception of a second PRACH communication during a second RACH occasion. Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating multiplexing of time-varying DMRS within a symbol are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a receiving device includes receiving a first symbol of a single carrier waveform, the first symbol including a first set of DMRS resources. The example method also includes receiving a second symbol of the single carrier waveform, the second symbol including a second set of DMRS resources, the second set of DMRS resources associated with at least one of a DMRS starting location and a DMRS duration that is different than the first set of DMRS resources.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for flexible intra-symbol multiplexing of DMRS of different antenna ports for single carrier waveforms. A base station may transmit one or more DMRSs within a symbol and provide an intra-symbol guard interval prior to each of the one or more DMRSs. The intra-symbol guard interval may have a duration that is based on a duration of a CP. A UE may receive the one or more demodulation reference signals DMRSs within the symbol based on the intra-symbol guard interval prior to each of the one or more DMRSs, and perform a channel estimation based on at least one of the one or more DMRSs.
