    Abstract: Scheduling information configured to schedule a secondary uplink on a second cell is received on a first cell. Downlink reference signals (DL RSs) are received on the first cell, or radio resource control (RRC) signaling configuring a third cell is received and the DL RSs are received on the third cell. The secondary uplink is transmitted on the second cell. An apparatus receives RRC signaling configuring a location of DL RSs associated with a secondary uplink. The DL RSs are at least one of: within a first carrier bandwidth or a first bandwidth part (BWP) of the secondary uplink, within a second carrier bandwidth or a second BWP of a second cell configured to the apparatus for a non-secondary uplink, or are not within any cell configured to the apparatus. The apparatus transmits the secondary uplink at a power or with timing control determined with the DL RSs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that provide for multi-RAT spectrum sharing (MRSS) for network access procedures. MRSS may provide common resources for initial access information for each of two or more RATs. In some aspects, an initial bandwidth part (BWP) configuration may be provided for a MRSS cell, and a user equipment (UE) supporting MRSS, as well as UEs that support only one RAT (e.g., a legacy UE that supports an older technology RAT), may monitor for network access information in the common resources, such as a synchronization signal block (SSB) that provides access information for two RATs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Some examples of the described techniques provide for time-division multiplexing (TDM) modem envelope enhancements. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network entity, a message scheduling a transport block or multiple transport blocks in a downlink slot that immediately precedes one or more non-downlink slots (e.g., uplink (U), special(S), or flexible (F) slots) in a TDD slot configuration. The UE may receive the transport block or the multiple transport blocks in the downlink slot, and may process at least a portion of the transport block or the multiple transport blocks during one or more time intervals that occur after the downlink slot. The transport block may satisfy a per-slot transport block size threshold that is associated with a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processing timeline.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for improved sidelink discovery communication. An example method performed by a user equipment (UE) generally includes deciding, when a conflict occurs between a sidelink discovery message and at least one other transmission in a transmission period, whether to transmit the sidelink discovery message or the at least one other transmission based, at least in part, on a priority of the sidelink discovery message; and transmitting the sidelink discovery message or the at least one other transmission in the transmission period, in accordance with the decision. Another example method by a UE generally includes signaling a capability of the UE to simultaneously receive, during a reception period, on a downlink and a sidelink; and receiving on the downlink while also receiving on the sidelink, in accordance with the capability.

    Abstract: In an aspect, a target user equipment (UE) receives discovery messages from peer UEs. Each discovery message indicates a subset of capabilities associated with a peer UE to participate in a sidelink positioning session. The target UE sends an interest message to the peer UEs indicating that the target UE intends to have the peer UEs participate in the sidelink positioning session and receives capability messages from the peer UEs indicating additional capabilities associated with each of the peer UEs. The target UE sends a selection message to at least one peer UE to participate in the sidelink positioning session based on the subset of capabilities and the additional capabilities associated with the at least one peer UE. The selection message requests the at least one peer UE participate in the sidelink positioning session with the target UE.

A user equipment (UE) may monitor a set of frequencies in a frequency band for a synchronization signal block (SSB) according to an initial channel raster. The initial channel raster may be associated with an initial cell or an initial base station. The UE may receive an indication of one or more frequencies for an updated channel raster associated with another cell or another base station. The initial channel raster and the updated channel raster may be different. The UE may monitor for another SSB according to the updated channel raster, which may include additional frequencies within a same frequency band or a different frequency band.
