Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for enhancing ephemeris for non-terrestrial networks. For example, UEs of different orbit propagation capabilities (e.g., computing orbit propagation models of different accuracy levels) may receive additional ephemeris parameters. In one aspect, a network entity may determine at least one additional set of ephemeris parameters that includes different ephemeris parameters than one or more basic sets of ephemeris parameters associated with a satellite that provides a coverage for the network entity. The network entity may transmit broadcast signaling indicating the at least one additional set of ephemeris parameters. The UE may receive and use the at least one additional set of ephemeris parameters in an orbit propagation model to compute a state of motion of the satellite.

Abstract: A first client device may participate in a media communication session with a second client device. The first client device may receive a local IP address type of the second client device. The first client device may provide the local IP address type to an intermediate network device. In this manner, the intermediate network device may use the local IP address type to calculate a protocol data unit (PDU) set size (PSSize) based on the local IP address type. The intermediate network device may add the calculated PSSize value to a tunnel header of a tunnel packet that encapsulates a packet including media data sent by the second client device to the first client device. In this manner, other network devices may receive accurate values for the PSSize when media data is exchanged via network tunnels, to ensure that all packets of a common PDU set are delivered together.

Abstract: An example device includes one or more memories configured to store a current real-time transport protocol (RTP) packet and one or more processors. The one or more processors are configured to determine a protocol data unit (PDU) set, the PDU set comprising a plurality of PDUs, each PDU comprising a corresponding RTP packet. The one or more processors are configured to determine, for a current RTP packet of the PDU set, a remaining PDU set size, the remaining PDU set size being indicative of a size of the sum of a remainder of the PDUs of the PDU set. The one or more processors are configured to transmit the current RTP packet including an RTP header extension comprising a value indicative of the remaining PDU set size.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate with a first cell. The UE may receive a request to report one or more parameters associated with handover from the first cell to a second cell during a time period. The one or more parameters may include an estimated propagation delay between the UE and the second cell during the time period, an estimated rate of change in propagation delay during the time period, or both. The UE may transmit a message indicating the parameters in response to the request. The UE may receive an indication of an uplink grant occasion associated with the handover during the time period based on indicating the parameters.

Abstract: A UE may receive, from at least one cell via at least one bit in a MIB or a SIB, a barring indication based on a supported network of the at least one cell and a supported network of the UE. The UE may skip, based on the received barring indication, a selection of the at least one cell for communication. Accordingly, the UE may not camp on the at least one cell. A user equipment (UE) and a media server may set up a communication session to support an extended reality (XR) application. The UE may receive an indication of a semantic model to use for processing data packets to be received at the UE. The semantic model is determinative of incomplete audio data based on a meaning of known audio data. The UE may receive a set of data packets that encodes a first portion of a sequence of audio data and generate, using the semantic model and one or more data packets of the set of data packets, a second portion of the sequence of audio data. The second portion is in addition to the first portion.
