    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for reducing inter-sector interference. A method generally includes transmitting, in a multi-user multiple-input and multiple-output (MU-MIMO) mode, first beamformed transmissions using a first beam to a first user equipment (UE) in a first sector and second beamformed transmissions using a second beam to a second UE in a second sector, wherein the BS is configured to control a plurality of sectors comprising the first sector and the second sector, receiving, from the first UE, a feedback report indicating inter-sector interference encountered by the first UE in the first sector due to the second beamformed transmissions, and taking one or more actions based on the feedback report to reduce the inter-sector interference encountered by the first UE in the first sector.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for accessing a shared communication medium. An aspect includes communicating over the shared communication medium in accordance with a Time Division Duplexing (TDD) frame structure defining a set of downlink subframes and a set of uplink subframes, each uplink subframe being divided into a transmission gap period, a contention-exempt period, and a contention-compliant period, performing a contention procedure for contending for access to the shared communication medium during the transmission gap period, selectively transmitting contention-compliant uplink control signals during the contention-compliant period, and transmitting one or more contention-exempt uplink control signals during the contention-exempt period. An aspect includes receiving a downlink subframe of the shared communication medium and transmitting an acknowledgment of the downlink subframe during an uplink subframe of the shared communication medium, the uplink subframe occurring at least a predetermined number of subframes and/or at least a predetermined amount of time after the downlink subframe.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a measurement report indicating a plurality of candidate beam pairs for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication with a network node, wherein the plurality of candidate beam pairs includes a first beam pair and a second beam pair, wherein each beam of the plurality of candidate beam pairs has a spatial characteristic and a polarization characteristic. The UE may receive a MIMO configuration for the first beam pair and the second beam pair, wherein a beam of the second beam pair is outside a beam avoidance region, wherein the beam avoidance region is defined based at least in part on the spatial characteristic of a beam of the first beam pair.     Abstract: An apparatus for wireless communication at a UE is provided. The apparatus is configured to receive a configuration to report interference measurement information indicating interference measurements for each interference measurement resource of a set of interference measurement resources and Rx beam information used by the UE for performing interference measurements on each interference measurement resource of the set of interference measurement resources. The apparatus is configured to receive a set of interference measurement reference signals on the set of interference measurement resources, and to measure interference on each interference measurement resource of the set of interference measurement resources to obtain the interference measurement information. Each interference measurement is through one Rx beam of a set of Rx beams. The apparatus is configured to transmit, in response to the received set of interference reference signals on the set of interference measurement resources, the interference measurement information, and corresponding Rx beam information.
