Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to uplink control information for uplink information based on wake-up signals. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the terminal device determines based on transmission information at a first time point whether a predetermined number of the one or more occasions overlaps with active time of the terminal device. The terminal device determines the configuration for transmitting the uplink information based on the determination. In this way, ambiguity has been reduced and the flexibility of the network is improved.

Abstract: Appropriate timing may beneficial in various communication systems. For example, Long Term Evolution Advanced (LTE-A) and LTE Licensed Assisted Access (LAA) may benefit from appropriate maximum time determinations for unlicensed secondary cell (SCell) detection, measurements, and activation. A method can include determining a window for a reference signal. The method can also include communicating based on the determined window. For example, the method can include transmitting the reference signal based on the determined window. Alternatively, or in addition, the method can include providing measurement reports based on the reference signal received within the window.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing multi-beam downlink channel control procedures. The invention allows for power savings at a user device by indicating what states are to be used and/or indicating deactivation of receiver panels. This is accomplished, at least partially, through the use of a transmission configuration indication table based, at least partially, on measurements made by a user device and panel tags indicating the panels used to make those measurements. Determining optimal downlink and uplink beam selection is accomplished with reference to user device measurements and reporting.

Abstract: Measurement mode determination for narrowband internet of things devices There are provided measures for measurement mode determination for NB-IoT devices. Such measures exemplarily comprise receiving, by a NB-IoT device and from a serving network node (30), configuration information indicative of a measurement mode (e.g., Inband/Guard-band/Standalone) in relation to a neighbor cell, deriving said measurement mode of said neighbor cell from said configuration information, and measuring a reference signal of said neighbor cell based on said measurement mode.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for measurement delivery. In some example embodiments, there is provided a method. The method may include receiving information to configure a user equipment to perform one or more measurements and to configure the user equipment to report, when requested by a network, the one or more measurements; receiving a request from the network to report the one or more measurements configured based on the received information; and reporting, in response to the request from the network, the one or more measurements to the network, without regard to measurement event reporting. Related apparatus, systems, methods, and articles are also described.

Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from improved secondary cell access. For example, faster secondary cell access may be help to improve the transition time of a user equipment from an idle or inactive state to a connected state. A method may include triggering new traffic at a user equipment, wherein the user equipment is in an idle state or an inactive state. The method may also include performing measurements at the user equipment to find another cell on a carrier after receiving new traffic. In addition, the method may include transmitting an early measurement report comprising the measurements from the user equipment to the network entity. The early measurement report is transmitted before the termination of a measurement period.

Abstract: Various communication systems may benefit from indications of conditions existing within the system. For example, communication systems employing dual connectivity may benefit from an indication of whether or not a user equipment is in a dual connectivity synchronized condition. A method can include determining a dual connectivity synchronization condition for the user equipment with respect to at least two base stations. The method can also include reporting the dual connectivity synchronization condition to a network element.
