摘要: Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for supporting power saving for V2X communications. One apparatus includes a transceiver and a processor that receives a first request from a first application to send data over a PC5 interface. The processor determines a first PC5 DRX configuration for the first application based on at least one first QoS requirement and determines to establish a first PC5 QoS Flow to transmit the data. The processor associates the first PC5 DRX configuration with the first PC5 QoS Flow and sends a second request to an AS layer to establish a first QoS Flow, where the second request indicates a first QoS parameter and the first PC5 DRX configuration.

One apparatus in a mobile communication network includes a processor and a transceiver that transmits to an IMS network entity a first SIP message comprising a request for establishing a data session, where the first SIP message contains a first contact header field. The transceiver receives a second SIP message from the IMS network entity for establishing the data session, where the second SIP message contains an indicator. The processor determines an IMS network capability from a combination of the first contact header field and the indicator.

One apparatus includes a memory coupled to a processor configured to cause the apparatus to generate a list indicating a set of PLMNs and a respective trusted connectivity type associated with each PLMN of the set of PLMNs, select a PLMN from the set of PLMNs, select a trusted connectivity type associated with the selected PLMN, and select a non-3GPP access network from a set of non-3GPP access networks based on the non-3GPP access network supporting the selected trusted connectivity type associated with the selected PLMN and a priority of the non-3GPP access network. Additionally, the processor causes the apparatus to perform a connection procedure with the selected PLMN using the selected trusted connectivity type and via the selected non-3GPP access network.

One apparatus includes a transceiver and a processor that receives, e.g., from an internal application or operating system, a first request to establish a unicast session over a direct communication link to a first UE. Here, the first request indicates a source application-layer identifier of the apparatus and a target application-layer identifier of the first UE. The processor determines whether an active unicast session between the source application-layer identifier and the target application-layer identifier already exists. If an active unicast session between the source application-layer identifier and the target application-layer identifier already exists, then the processor re-uses the already-existing active unicast session. Otherwise, the processor establishes a new unicast session between the apparatus and the first UE.

One apparatus includes a processor and a transceiver that communicates with a mobile communication network over one or more access networks. The processor receives a first request to establish a network connection. Here, the first request includes a first connection capability, the first connection capability being an OS-specific parameter indicating a preferred connection characteristic. The processor selects a routing policy rule based on the first connection capability and sends (via the transceiver) a second request to the mobile communication network to establish a first type of network connection. Here, the first type of network connection is indicated by the selected routing policy rule.
