Abstract:
Discussed are a smart watch and a control method for the same, which provide a notification indicating events, which are scheduled to occur later on the basis of a take-off time, if the smart watch is taken off. The smart watch includes a display unit to display content, a communication unit to perform transmission/reception of data, and a sensor unit to detect an input signal with regard to the smart watch and transmit the signal to a processor that serves to control the aforementioned units. The processor detects a take-off signal, indicating separation of the smart watch from a user, in a worn mode, to switch the smart watch to an unworn mode in response to the detected take-off signal, and provides a notification indicating at least one event that is scheduled to occur after detecting the take-off signal in the unworn mode.

The method for controlling a digital device comprises the steps of acquiring at least one image data, wherein the image data includes a still image or moving picture image; extracting additional information of the acquired image data, wherein the additional information includes position information and time information of a recording device corresponding to actual time and location when the image data are recorded by the recording device; generating path information on a map related to the image data, on the basis of the additional information; and displaying a path of the image data on the map in a form of line on the basis of the generated path information, wherein the step of displaying the path includes dividing the path into one or more sections, and adjusting line thickness of the divided sections in accordance with amount of the image data according to a distance within the divided section.

A portable device including double-sided displays and a method for controlling the same are provided. The method includes detecting an unlock command for the portable device, which is a command to switch the first display unit to an active state and to switch the second display unit to a ready-to-activate state, switching the first display unit to an active state and switching the second display unit to a ready-to-activate state when the unlock command is the second command, detecting an unlock trigger for the second display unit, which serves to switch a display unit, which is in a ready-to-activate state, to an active state, and switching the second display unit from the ready-to-activate state an active state according to the detected unlock trigger.

A Head Mount Display (HMD) and a method for controlling the HMD are disclosed. The method includes detecting an external device in an image captured by the HMD, recognizing at least one component from a first User Interface (UI) of the external device, the at least one component including a keypad or a window for outputting data corresponding to an input signal to the keypad, generating a second UI including the recognized at least one component, displaying the second UI in the HMD, wherein the at least one component of the first UI being displayed on the external device is overlaid with the displayed second UI using the image from which the external device is detected, and displaying data corresponding to an input signal currently received at the external device on the second UI in the HMD.
