Abstract: A lithium secondary battery comprising a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a lithium metal layer, and an electrolyte disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode. The negative electrode comprises a first protective layer formed on a negative electrode current collector, a second protective layer formed on the first protective layer opposite the negative electrode current collector, and a third protective layer formed inside and on one surface of the second protective layer opposite the first protective layer, and wherein the lithium metal layer is formed between the negative electrode current collector and the first protective layer in the negative electrode when lithium ions migrate from the positive electrode after charging.

Abstract: A polymer for an electrode protective layer including a polymer (A) including a fluorine-based polymer in which a monomer unit including poly(alkylene oxide) and a monomer unit including a curable functional group (e.g., a thermocurable functional group or a photocurable functional group) are grafted on the fluorine-based polymer, and when preparing an electrode by coating an electrode active material layer using the polymer and curing (e.g., thermally curing or photocuring) the result, excellent lithium ion conductivity is obtained since lithium ion flow is not inhibited, chemical resistance for an electrolyte liquid is high, and voltage stability of a secondary battery may be enhanced by suppressing side reactions with the electrolyte liquid occurring on an electrode active material surface due to properties of a uniform and flexible protective layer.

Abstract: A method for preparing a positive electrode active material, a positive electrode active material prepared using the same, and a lithium secondary battery, and in particular, to a method for preparing a positive electrode active material comprising the steps of (a) preparing a coating composition including a precursor of metal-phosphorous-oxynitride; (b) forming a precursor layer on a positive electrode active material with the coating composition of (a) using a solution process; and (c) forming a metal-phosphorous-oxynitride protective layer on the positive electrode active material by heat treating the positive electrode active material having the precursor layer formed thereon. The method for preparing a positive electrode active material uses a solution process, which is advantageous in terms of simplifying the whole process and reducing costs, and high capacity, high stabilization and long lifetime are obtained as well by the formed protective layer having excellent properties.

Abstract: A lithium secondary battery which is made of an anode-free battery and includes lithium metal formed on a negative electrode current collector by charging. Abstract: The present invention relates to a Li-rich antiperovskite compound and the use thereof, and more particularly, to a Li-rich antiperovskite compound having a novel structure in which a dopant is substituted in a Li3OCl compound, wherein the dopant is substituted for an O site rather than an anionic Cl site, as known in the art, and an electrolyte using the same.
